You sit in the corner, white and cold.
How can you leave me? You`re not very old,
Did I overwork you, was it too much to bear?
I always gave you the very best care.
I liked your quiet cycle and the gentle gurgling sound,
I will really miss you when you`re not around,
I didn`t overload you, I always kept you clean,
What will I do without you, faithful washing machine
BUT..............................
They are giving me another because you`re under warrantty,
And I admit it will be nice not to have you deafen me,
with your noisy bearings and unbalanced inner drum,
You`re motor makes a racket when all is said and done.
So perhaps I will not miss you, as much as I would think,
I am sick of being deafened because you are on the blink.
I will welcome your replacement and treat it with loving care,
So while you wash that final load,
Blow up if you dare !!!
by me.

Lol Sandra, well done. Enjoyed this very much. We had to get a new one this year as well. Our other had given 15 years of faithful service being used nearly every day. So I guess we could not complain.
Someone keeps using ours to wash cardigans.
Thinking of putting a spnner in the works
