Hello everyone,
Welcome to an extremely dull and miserable Monday. I think the sun must have gone on strike because apart from a few lovely days we`ve seen little evidence of it. Jeannette (Travels) reminded us in her journal that Midsummer`s Day is only five weeks away, Huh, this time last year my window boxes and pots were full of flowers, even though I was covering them up at night in case of frost. At the moment I`ve only planted the half barrel at the bottom of the garden. I wanted to plant the rest today but it`s been raining on and off so I didn`t bother....sigh.
Little Man is so much better today. He`s eating again and is more cheerful, not 100% but much better than yesterday. Hopefully this is the end of the virus for him, Kerry now has the cold that accompanies it but she feels much better than she did. That leaves Jim who hasn`t caught it yet, let`s hope not eh? Jim and his mate Mark are fishing today, they`ve been gone since about 6am and they`re not home yet. I just hope the day was worth it, fish wise that is. I know Jim is hoping to land an even bigger fish so he can show off via my journal....lol!
Kerry took this hilarious photo of Roman after he`d been eating a bowl of mango!
Then she took this one to show what an angel he can be...lol!
I`m really glad that Jan`s computer is up and running again. It seems to be fine now with no lasting problems. I`ll bet we`ll get to read some lovely entries from her this week, not that they aren`t excellent all the time...lol! I`ve been reading quite a few new journals lately. Jeannette (Jottings) and several others lead me to them and I must admit that they are in the main, particularly good. I find it a pity thatsome journals fade away without explaination, especially when you feel you know the author really well through their writings. It`s good to know however that these new ones spring up with fresh faces with all sorts of themes.
Tomorrow we are having our hall carpet fitted at last and I can`t wait, I`ve almost forgotten what it looks like it`s been so long. Then I`ll be able to take the long awaited photos. I was going to wait until Jim has sorted out the phone and computer wires but I`ve been asked so many times for them you probably wouldn`t care less if I waited any longer...lol! I`ll say say goodbye to you all now, I hope you`ve had a really good day. Take care. :o)

I'm glad Roman is feeling better and I hope Jim catches a big fish for you to display on here. You're right about the journals that just seem to fade away. It's refreshing that new journalists are popping up all the time.

Did Roman actually eat any of the mango? I'm happy he is feeling better now and hope everyone is well soon. Can't wait to see the pictures of the new area. We are getting a lot of rain too and its so dreary isn't it? better days are coming you can be sure. Sandra
at last I got your journal open!
good that means the nights will be drawing in soon!!! brilliant!
Bless Roman and his attempt at eating a mango, he must have heard they make great face pecks too! He looks so beautiful and peaceful when he's asleep. I hope Jim didn't get wet fishing, we've had no rain, just thick grey cloud and mist, ugh!! I want summer and I want it NOW!! I hope Kerry gets over the cold soon. Jeannette xx
Roman looks so happy with the mango on his mouth. The one with him sleep is so sweet. I am glad he is feeling better. Hope kerry's cold is soon gone and hope Jim doesn't catch it. Hope he caught another big fish today. It has been quite cool here today also. I suppose it is night there now so have a good one. Helen
I wonder if Roman knows how that mango has plenty of Vitamin C and is so good for him. I don't think I have ever seen a photo of a happier or healthy baby than him sleeping and dreaming. There will be plenty of days this summer when we will wish for a cool rain. It has been raining for a week now and more forecast. It was cold and dark this morning and with my ear infection I could not attempt to move from the bed. Now this afternoon my energy is returning. mark
Roman is the cutest soul ever. Look at his adorable peaceful face!

What gorgeous photos of Roman, just look at that face, he has been tangoed lol!!!! A picture of innocence, true innocence whilst asleep. Glad he is better. What no fishing graphic for Jim? Yes, I am glad Jan got her computer problems sorted. Like you I cannot understand why journals fade away. What happened to Suzy and Gemma but there are new people coming up all the time and may be more with Jan being featured.
