With everything else thats been going on recently, I forgot to say that Kerry was entered into a karioke competetion last month. Well she won the initial event and then the next heat and now is in the final on November 2nd. She used to be a proffessional singer on the cruise ships but she hasnt sang for two years now, so she is really glad to be back behind the mike. The 1st prize is over £10,000 in prizes and already she has won a DVD player that she is giving to her in-laws for Christmas. She has to sing the same song each time but she doesnt really mind. Hers is Whitney Houston`s " I wanna dance with Somebody" She says shes glad she chose it because everyone gets up on the dance floor and the promoters love it when they do that. So now we are all keeping our fingers crossed for her. Shes not a bad little singer still so shes in with every chance. I`ll keep you posted as to the outcome.
We`ve been out for the afternoon and had dinner in a nice little pub that we`ve not been to before, and what a scrummy roast beef dinner we had too. Ooh it was lovely, just like home cooking, and reasonably priced which is always a bonus. Now I am feeling the urge for a nice cup of tea so I`m off to put the kettle on. Bye for now.

I love Tweety. Thanks for visiting my journal. Yes, I was almost crazy-thought I wouldn't mentally make it, but I knew I had to. She is terrified of strangers now even though she is 33 yrs. old. Very cautious of all men and I understand why. She had to go to years of therapy. Still, it's always there-in her mind and mine.

Sandra, how wonderful about Kerry. I do hope she wins!!! Let me know the minute you know. No roast dinner for us, rarely have them these days, but when we do, it is a real treat. Wish Kerry good luck from Mike and myself xxxxxx
