WEDNESDAY`S WORNOUT WOES

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Wednesday evening, phew!  I`m really shattered as I`ve been on the go since early this morning.  It doesn`t help that I`m feeling a little under the weather, a bit of a virus I think with a bit of a sore tummy and a continuous headache, never mind though, it could be worse.

Kerry and I set off this morning at 10.30 and we must have been in every decent clothes shop in the town.  Kerry found what she was looking for almost straight away.  She has bought herself a nice little black dress and it looks super on her too, very flattering.  As for me, every time I found a top that I liked, it either wasn`t in my size, or when I tried it on it looked awful.  I found one in Next that I loved but Kerry hated, so I didn`t buy it.  I found a really nice dress but it cost a fortune so that was out of the question too.  Having tried on most of what the High Street has to offer, I will have to make a decision by Friday morning when we are back there again.  Kerry says that the very first one I tried on is the best so I`ll keep that one in mind,. Since Friday will be my last chance I will have to make a decision regardless.

I thought you might like the three photos I`m posting today. I read something in the newspaper giving tips on how to photograph trees.  So I tried it the way the it was recommended.....from upsidedown!   The photographer said he laid down on the ground, directly under the tree and pointed the camera upwards...well I wasn`t going to do that and get wet and dirty....or get funny looks from passers-by....lol, so I just held the camera at arms length under the trees, turned the lens upwards and voila!

I think they look rather pretty and a bit different and I thought I would share them with you.

I forgot to tell you that I had a hospital appointment last friday about my elbow.  The clinic was running over an hour late but I decided I would just have to wait.  The only magazine there was for car enthusiasts so I had nothing to read.  Anyway,  once I got in, the doc asked how I`d been with the feeling in my fingers and the pain in my elbow.  I told him honestly that the feeling in my fingertips wasn`t back but I can use them far more than before, and that the pain in my elbow has all but disappeared except if I accidently bang it, when it feels more like an electric shock.  he said that the feeling in my fingers might take years to come back, if ever, and the pain in my elbow should eventually go completely.  Oh good, I thought, I can live with that, Then he said he would discharge me from the clinic but if I have more problems to see my GP and she would refer me back.  Yippee!  I don`t have to go back there again...I`m so happy!!!!

Well, I`m happy from that point of view, but I`m a bit cross from another....My new keyboard....the letters are wearing off the keys already, not one or two like the old one but lots of them.  It`s going back to PC World....my typing isn`t THAT heavy and I think they should last abit longer than a fortnight before wearing off like that!

Well that`s it from me tonight.  I haven`t a lot of time and I have my journals to read before I go and watch TV at 9.  So have a nice evening all of you and take care.

Sandra those photo's are great - lovely perspective.....I think I would go for the "Next" top you tried on - especially if you liked it ....Not the next one the one from "Next".. So glad your hospital appointment went well and he has discharged you from his Clinic....I think a keyboard is expected to last at least three weeks...lol Off back to PC World with you my girl...and demand one that lasts...Ally

And I thought it was Kerry who would take a long time shopping LOL.
I love the leaves pictures. The wind is really blowing here today and the leaves are coming down like crazy. All the pretty leaves will be gone after this. Glad we got out this past weekend and got some trees. That's good news about your hand. Helen

Those tree photos are really effective actually, I love them. And what a good time of year to do it. So glad to hear about your arm - great that the pain will disappear totally eventually. And it must be quite a release to be free of the clinic at last.

The tree pictures are pretty... I will have to try that but I will have to wait until next year as we got a lot of wind today and it seems all the trees are bare already here in Green Bay, Wisconsin..... I hope you find the dress you are looking for the next time you go shopping... good luck and have fun.

Great pictures, Sandra.  I'm going to try that photography hint about taking pictures of trees.  However, like you...I refuse to lay on the ground!!    :)

I think your leaf photographs are lovely, I shall have to try that when our trees have leaves on again.  Glad about the hospital.  Your fingers might come back if you see what I mean.  When I had my neck operation I lost all feeling under my chin and on my right hip. They said it would never come back.  Fifteen years later, I got feeling under my chin again and some feeling on my hip although not all. As for the keyboard, I do not understand it.  Having worked my way through five or six they have always packed up because the space bar failed to work or something like that.  I have never lost print off the actual keys.  How strange.

I have had this crappy keyboard for 5 yrs and it looks like hell but all the printing is still on all letters. I sure hope you feel better today!!! Sorry to hear you feel poorly. Glad you and Kerry had a good time. With me being fat it is HELL to shop for clothes. I hate it. Love the pics of the pretty trees.

Fingers crossed that you find something you like tomorrow, shopping wise that is, not just finding stuff wise ;o)  Love the tree photo's, what a good idea to take a pic from underneath.  You get the blue of the sky, and the lovely bright colours of the leaves.  Very different.  Glad the appointment went well last week, and that you don't have to go back anymore.  Hopefully the pain in your elbow will continue to ease, and your fingertips will get their feeling back soon for you.  Your new keyboard must have been made by the same people that made my old coffee machines, lol!!  Two weeks and the letters are already coming off?  That's no good is it!  I've had my keyboard for just over a year, and for me it's the H thats wearing the most.  I must type lots of words with H's in them ;o)  Sorry for the long comment, I am a chatterbox today!!!
