Hello Everyone,
And how are you all on this wet and soggy Sunday afternoon ? I suppose the weather is typical of November but it doesn`t make it any the less depressing. I`ve not long come back from taking Jake for a drag around....I mean a walk around the streets. He is NOT a lover of rain, if fact, the more I think about it, that dog is a lot more complex with his likes and dislikes than most people I know. He doesn`t like the vaccuum cleaner, or the floor mop, or the ironing board. He much prefers to eat his food in the dining room as the kitchen is not to his taste, he won`t go into the garden at night without Jim or I being with him, despte the fact there is a light out there. He certainly didn`t appreciate the fact that I have to put on my wet weather gear for his to be able to stretch his legs...but was he grateful? What do you think...lol! I just hope he`ll like the fillet steak I`m cooking him for his dinner.....only joking!!! He`s not allowed that sort of thing with his dodgy tummy, thank goodness, who knows what he would have me doing if not!
At last I bring you a photo of my new hair colour, though not a very flattering one, but never mind, it`s not a fashion show...lol!
So different is the new colour that Jim didn`t even notice the colour until the evening when he asked what was different about my hair. Well, we`ve only been married for 32 years and I`ve only been blonde for ten of those, so it`s an understandable oversight by the one I love!
I`vw been sorting out my wardrobe, so that my winter wear is easier to get hold of. I`ve discovered I`ve got clothes that I didn`t realise I had and some things I`ve not even worn, and as for my shoes, I could give Imelda Marcos a run for her money. I pulled out all my boots and shoes and have given them all a good polish and they look so much nicer now. One pair of boots I nearly threw away last year are my trusty old brown ankle boots. They are at least eight years old but are in surprisingly good condition, so I polished them too and they look lovely. I now have four pairs of ankle boots and a knee length pair. You can read it first here...I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANYMORE BOOTS THIS YEAR. There, I`ve said it...though it wasn`t easy for a shoeaholic like me!
Well with that confession I`ll leave you to enjoy your Sunday. If it`s raining and you have to walk the dog, don`t complain, just be thankful you don`t have Jake...lol!

Your new hair clour looks very natural, I've started doing mine a darker blonde. Wish my cats were like Jake, they chase the floor mop when I wash the floor, love to lay on the ironing board when I iron as it's warm and won't move when I vacuum, I've sucked their tails up the tube before now but they still didn't move!! Horrible and wet here too!! Jeannette. http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels
Has Sam moved in with you cos that is him to a tee, hates going in the garden at night on his own! Like the hair, typical male not noticing till much later on!
Sandra - that is a lovely entry - Jake sounds a treasure....I hope he appreciates the fillet steak you are cooking for him (I'm not Joking):o)...Love the hair colour - trust a man not to notice after all 32 years isnt very long..lol...I hear there is a boot sale on at M&S...perhaps I shouldn't mention that it to you........Love your Graphics.....Ally

So sorry it is raining there...hope it clears soon. I love your hair color...it makes your face brighter...so nice. I wish I had the nerve to change mine. But I don't...oh well. You did great. Hope we get the little rain they say we will this afternoon...maybe a thunderstorm or two they say...oh...I don't even own a pair of boots...I guess I am strange not to.
Hugs,
Joyce
It's notyou hair I'm concerned about it is that poor donkey.............
You look really great. As for Jake, it's not him it's the breed. Our first dog was a lab and he was actually scared of water. Take care.

Cute graphic ! Your hair looks great. I think some men would not notice if we shaved our heads. They look at us (I mean really look at us) like they listen to us when we are talking to them. I'm glad I just have a kitty...no "walk abouts" when the weather is nasty. How's that baby doing ?
Jake should feel better as no firworks are going on today. Love you hair color. Your smile sets if off also. The jokes are cute and so are the graphics. No rain here in a long time. Helen
Love the hair, the cut looks good too! Typical man, Jason never notices mine either, he notices the bill though! LOL...I have to sort through my clothes, condense two wardrobes into one...Hmm

Our dog detests the rain and will pull the whole way on his lead wanting to head back towards home. I can just imagine Jake being fussy about eating in the kitchen LOL..........bless him!! I hope Jim's reading this that your not gonna buy any more shoes ;-) Great pic and love the hair!!
I like the color.
