A NON-EVENT and RAMBLINGS!

Hello everybody,

I`m here to post an entry but I don`t really have much to say.  I`m sure something must have happened today but if it was interesting it must have passed me by, so for me, today is a `nothing` day...a complete non-event in my life  Now what did I do this morning?

Firstly I got up at 8am, an hour later than usual... I had a lie in.  I  had breakfast and  read the paper.  I then cleaned the house from top to bottom as is usual on a Saturday morning.  The only thing I did different from my usual routine was to clean and condition the leather 3 piece suite to stop it cracking.... very exciting I hear you say!  When I`d finished the house I took Jake for his morning walk, came home and made some coffee and went outside to sit on the patio.

I had lunch, watched TV for an hour and then played Bookworm were I reached the respectable score of 415,390 and the rank of Wordmaster.  That has to be the most exciting thing that has happened all day so far.  Jim arrived home a little later and we took Jake to Upton Park where I fully intended to get some photos the trees with their leaves changing colour....but I forgot the camera!

Still no sign of anything happening yet.  I cut Jim`s hair with the clippers and then disappeared upstairs to the computer where I played Bookworm again until Kerry and Slava turned up.  Slava used the computer for a while and I went to prepare dinner, chilli con carne. I then gave Roman a big cuddle and he smiled and gurgled and really cheered me up.  Kerry wasn`t very chatty as she is very tired and Jim was watching football, so as for conversation there wasn`t any so I went back to the kitchen and just watched the chilli bubbling away on the stove..lol!

So all in all, over the course of 13 hours NOTHING has happened at all....really!  I just hope something better comes along tomorrow.  If not I`ll have to do something else for a posting.   I REMEMBER !!!..... I planted the wallflowers, that`s what I did today.  Thanks for reading all about my `nothing` day.  I just hope you all had a much more interesting day, and take good care.

Oh Sandra, I had to smile because every day is like that for me!  The only days that are different are the days we see the babies. Sad but true.  It is sad when I look back and remember what life used to be like.  Still, we adapt, we have to don't we, thank God for the computer.  Oh Jan has joined that place I sent you an invitation to, be nice to have other fellow journallers there.  Becky is tired as well. Nathan has colic, she is getting no sleep and now has a stomach upset.  Sweet graphic xxxxx

Sounds to me you had a very busy day. Hope you remember to take your camera the next time you take Jake on a run. We need to see some pretty foliage pictures. Hope Kerry soon gets to feeling better.  A cuddle with little Roman should go a long way to breaking up the day. Interesting Trivia today. Do you have the site to bookworm or is it on a disk? I do the word whomp on Pogo once in a whils. I can't sit very long to play it though. Have a good night. Helen

Your day sounds about like mine sometimes...LOL.  Lots of cleaning and not really a whole lot else...speaking of cleaning...I've not vacuumed yet and it is almost 5:30...Maybe I should just wait til tomorrow. Yeah that's what I'll do.  LOL.
Hope you have a nice rest of the weekend.

I have plenty of 'non' days. Some are peaceful, most are depressive here. Being with and watching hubby is so heartrending.
