Hello everyone,
Welcome to a sunny Sunday afternoon. I presume most of you have either been spammed or heard of them. I`ll just give you the list of the names I think you should block from your journals and email, and then I`ll move on to something that is actually worth talking about! They are :
shadowhawk3680
blaze1wyteowl
katric15
txrebalgirl26
As I said please block these names as soon as possible for your own convenience and I`ll not waste any more journal time on them!
Today has been a very lazy day for me. I did the ironing as usual but there wasn`t as much as usual. I don`t know why that is but I`m not complaining. After that I had absolutely nothing to do so I took Jake out for a long walk round the country lanes. I bumped into an old work colleague and we chatted for a while and then I carried on with our walk. The rest of it was uneventful and I didn`t even see another person till I rounded the end of our street. I know it`s Sunday but I`ve not known it so quiet, perhaps everyone has been taken by aliens!
While doing the house work yesterday I decided while polishing the dresser that I would take a photo of my entire quarry critter family.
They are, in no particular order: BUMBLES, BRUNO, BREWSTER, BITTY BETSY, BIG BUD, LITTLE BUD, BLUEBERRY, BAM BAM, COUSIN BUBBLES, COUSIN BUTTONS, BIG BILLY, BEN and BONNIE, BRANDY and BETH, BEN and BONNIE, BLOSSOM, BESS and BANYAN, BEANO, BABY BUSTER, BANJO and BANDIT, BOO, LITTLE BILLY and BARNEY.
I`ve done my best here and hopefully haven`t left any of them out. I keep thinking there is a couple of names missing, oh well never mind, I`m sure it will come back to me later.
Jim and I are going out for dinner late this afternoon. It was his idea and I don`t have to cook. We`re going to a carvery that we really like and the food is delicious. I`m really looking forward to a nice roast dinner with all the trimmings. It`s a very popular place for familes as it is very reasonably priced so we`ll probably have abit of a wait for a table, but it is always worth it.
This morning when Jake and me got back, the kids next door were playing cricket again and Jake went and sat by the dividing fence and waited for the ball to come over. He is a clever dog and he knows when he hears them outside that it is only a matter of time. We still have all the balls that have come over plus the others that have come over since I last wrote about it, and the carrier bag we have is getting full up. Jim is biding his time before he visits the kids parents and makes his official complaint, and believe me he will too. He is a slow burner and does things when he is ready. Our neighbour get the message and if her kids cause any damage with the balls she WILL get the bill...lol !
I`m off now to read some journals and to see about the voting for the awards. Have a lovely relaxing day and take care all of you.

I love your little critters, they are all so cute. It's very early here in Washington right now. They are predicting thunder storms for this afternoon, which is fine becuase I have some ironing to do. (Gee I hope the power doesn't get knocked out) Have a wonderful dinner with your Jim.
Your quarry critter family are just delightful...they all look very happy to-gether. Enjoy your dinner.never mind the wait sounds a very good place to go..A carrier bag full of balls - honestly you would think they would get fed up losing so many. Hope Jim sorts them out. WOW your critter family has really grown. Jake is a good dog sitting and waiting for the balls to come over the fence. LOL. I think most everyone got those spam comments yesterday. I just kept on blocking names. Hopefully that is all for a while, while that person makes up more names to hit us with. Enjoy your dinner out with Jim. Helen

I really enjoy reading about your family - Jim and Kerry and Roman and Slava and Danny - and your everyday adventures. And who wouldn't love Jake? And The Critters? You have such a delightful way of telling about them all.
But, while we share a mother tongue, we don't always speak the same language. So for the enlightenment of your American readers please, what is a carrier bag? and a carvery? How does it differ from other restaruants?
And (from earler entries) I'm guessing that a surgery (which to us is an operating room containing a surgeon, the doctor who cuts into your body with a scalpel) is what we might call a clinic, and cough linctus would translate into Americanese as cough syrup, but what are wall manger boxes?
Oh, the difficlty of human communication!
I've seen a lot of British movies and have had a fair sampling of the BBC broadcast here and in Canada (I live "spitting distance" from Canada and get some of their TV channels) and thought I had a fairly extensive British vocabulay, but I keep coming across new words and expressions in your journal. So, if I ask from time to time, I hope you will not mind.
Ooooooooo thanks for the hint I shall try and block those names now!! Great pic of the critter family!! It's been a lazy day for me too but at least you've been out with Jake - hope you enjoyed your carvery - mmmmmmm..........I want one now LOL........
Wow you have such a following of readers....just posted 5 hours ago and 17 entries already. LOL.
Hope you all are having a great weekend...
I think walking on the country lane sounds good.
But yet here I sit...
Oh yes, I've been visited by those names you mentioned. Nice of AOL to make it easy and block the names and all the comments at once....makes it easy. Let them leave entries...they'll continue to be blocked. Lots more effort on their part and one click of the button on our end to delete and block all at once.
Sad that someone would have a boring life like that. I'd hate to think that is all I had to do to spend my energies on. LOL>
I LOVE those critters! Such expressions on their faces. How was dinner? It is amazing how smart dogs are.....think about it....Jake is a dog but yet he could figure out if he saw the kids playing that meant he would get a ball so he sat where he could get it.
Have a happy Monday, lisa
Those bears are adorable. Do they have a name? You know, like Boyd's Bears... ;) C. http://journals.aol.com/gdireneoe/thedailies
