When I was a kid I used to think magnolias were handkerchiefs tied on trees but I can't recall ever thinking there was anything odd about this!  Star of the show - Jake.  I wonder why dogs are always so photogenic.  Something about the eyes I think.

Lovely pictures Sandra ,but I am afraid I wouldn't dare venture here, even if I had someone with me in todays day and age and the dog.It looks very isolated .I am terrified of places like this now.I would even be afraid to let anyone close to me go to a place like this,to walk the dog.Or have I got oit wrong are ther many people about when you go.Loved the pics anyway and Jake is such a lovely dog and his coat is wonderful and glossy. My father swore to give our dog cold tea for his coat, and I am sure it put that shine on it myself.Take Care God Bless.Thinking of Jeannette all day long and evening.I pray she is ok!!How w aiting for news as such gets to me is unbelievable.

Hey, you're doing really well with your blog these days!  I followed the link from the "AOL most commented blog" section where you're about 8th!! http://peopleconnection.aol.com/blogs  Well done.  Your blog is a fascinating, entertaining and humane record of your life.  I really like it, although The west-Hove Terors and me are missing Jake's Journal.  When are you going to update it again!!  Vince www.westhoveterrors.com

Lovely pics; a lot of Hammer films were made on Hampstead Heath as well (my home town) and so was the ever ancient Adam Adamant(circa 1960's) with the lovely Gerald Harper, lol!!! My Magnolia is still in ever so small buds, hoping it will keep that way until the nicer weather comes back, but we have brilliant sunshine here at the moment instead of the clouds they have forecast!

Such a pretty day.  Enjoyed the walk in the park.  Liked the cool dude shot at the end.  LOL.  So cute.
Now do you all celebrate St. Pat's like we do over here?  I have no clue.  LOL.

I just loved this series of pics. #15 and #16 really took my breath away!  The sun through the trees is so pretty!  Jake looks like he is smiling in each photo of him!  And Roman...he's getting so big!!  Not a baby anymore!  Wow he's growing up so fast.  Good pic of your "cool dudes." LOL!
Enjoyed this and thank you for sharing it.
