Hello Everyone,
I hope you`re all having a lovely day, the weather is gorgeous again today after an evening of heavy rain, thunder and lightening yesterday. The ground is so wet there are toadstools on the lawn and around the plants. Not long ago there was a water shortage but they surely won`t be able to say that for much longer. The last I heard there was still a hospipe ban in our area, like we need one of course...lol!
Last night Roman was into everything and I certainly needed my wits about me. He has discovered that not only CAN he turn the DVD player on but now he tries to do it over and again, despite me telling him off and constantly moving him away. I daren`t turn my back for a moment or he`ll have found some more mischeif to get into! He`s teething again and there are four of them coming up at one, though thankfully he doesn`t seem to be in any distress, just the usual sniffles that babies get at such times.
This morning Jim and I went into Tescos to buy a present for baby Harry and also to buy a car seat for the back of my car. The one we wanted won`t be in stock until Tuesday ( it`s a special offer) so we`ll have to go back again next week. I didn`t leave empty handed though as Jim kindly bought me an apple corer for 97p, wasn`t that thoughtful of him? Actually I`d been looking for one, saw it and just popped it in the basket and let him pay for it..hehe! When we got home I went online and treated myself to the latest Zutons CD. I`ve fancied it for a while so I thought why not, and of course from Play.com it`s several £`s cheaper that in the shops.
I`ve been playing around with Microsoft Movie Maker this morning. I actually made a video with some photos of Roman but I won`t to go one better and make a video when we go out one day. I`m not sure I know what to do but I`m sure I`ll manage somehow. Jim has some very sophisticated programs for his camcorder but he says they are too complicated and he`ll try Movie Maker as it seems much more straight forward, his words not mine. Still photos are one thing but movies another!
I have been hoping to use some Autumn style graphics but with this lovely sunny weather it doesn`t seem right somehow. Even though the leaves are falling there`s it just doesn`t seem like the Autumns we usually have. Perhaps it`ll change soon, perhaps it won`t, perhaps it`ll stay this way right through the Winter. Nothing would surprise me weather-wise anymore. Right, that`s it for me for today. I want to read some journals before Roman arrives at 4.30. Enjoy the rest of your day, take care and Bye Bye for now. :o)

Oh my gosh you are going to have to have eyes in your elbows now to keep up with little Lord Torn socks ,just think all these months he's been sitting plotting what he will do when he walks ,now he can, whey look out lol ,.,.,.,Jan xx
It has been a lovely day here Sandra ~ Now Roman if finding out what everything is you really will need keep you wit's about you ~ their little fingers don't miss a thing ~ that was kind of Jim to buy you an apple corer "he is the last of the big spenders" lol ~ look forward to seeing some video's they are getting quite popular ~ I agree it seems a bit early for Autum graphics with the weather being so lovely ~ Ally
I wonder what Roman will find to do next! It's all so new and fun to him, bless him, the world is just made for exploring and whether you like it or not Roman will explore!! Lol! The weather here is gorgeous today too! Doesn't seem like autumn at all yet! Jeannette xx
You are going to be in for a busy time now that Roman is walking never mind it will keep you fit. We are lucky we don't need a car seat for Ellen we have a booster seat as she is a bit older. LOve Joan.
have a good evening Sandra...
Astra!
You made me remember how it was when my son was that little. I got down on my hands and knees and crawled around the house at his level to see what he could get into and how to fix it. It's amazing what they manage to find!
I like your graphics today! Have fun tonight.
Pam
Oh, my! Once they start walking, watch out! Their range of influence gets so much larger! My husband used to say when the kids were crawling that they were 'casing the joint, looking for things they would get into when they could walk'. He was right! You'll have to be very vigilant! If you read my last entry about Andrew and the ball point pen you know exactly what I'm talking about. LOL...
Enjoy!
Kathy

I hope you don't mind but I've snagged your musical notes - they are great :-) I'm glad roman's not distressed about his teeth. How kind of Jim to spend 97p on you lol..........Hope you like the Zutons cd - their stuff is quite catchy, our local radio station is always playing them
