Hello Everyone,
How lovely to be able to relax at last. I`ve been online most of the afternoon but not permanently. I`ve been stopping and starting whilst running around doing this and that round the house. Now it`s all done, at least for a few days anyway. Apart from a huge pile of ironing but that won`t be a problem will it Jan? I`m sending it all over to your house...I know where you live...lol! Blame it on the lovely drying weather..hehe!
I knew the good weather hadn`t deserted us as yet and I felt really hot whilst walking Jake this afternoon. I predict more of the same but the weather forecast doesn`t agree and says we`re to expect more unsettled weather next week....boo! Today Jim recieved an email from his brother`s wife saying they have a new grandson born two days ago. He is the first child of our nephew Andy and he and his partner have called him Harry. It is good news but it`s unlikely that we`ll see him in the near future. Jim hasn`t seen his brother since Kerry and Slava`s wedding blessing over two years ago. Families eh?
Jim told me about a dreadfully disturbing item in our local paper this morning. A dog was thrown 150 feet out of a window in a block of flats. They did it because they thought it was funny apparently....... FUNNY??? It made me cry and I felt even worse when Jim told me the dog didn`t die instantly and had to be put to sleep. The dog was a beautiful, trusting Staffordshire Bull Terrier and didn`t deserve such a horrendous end to its life. I just hope the individuals responsible are caught and soon. Witnesses say they saw three teenage boys, aged between 13 and 18 running away from the building laughing. I won`t tell you what Jim said but you only have to use your imagination. I just wonder if they can sleep at night..though I`ll bet they can. That poor creature.........
We`ve been having some trouble with our next door neighbours children of late. The problem is that they fight between themselves, not the usual sibling rivalry but nasty, violent fighting, mainly over the computer and having to go to school. The language is appalling and we can here every word of it. Sometimes it happens when the parents are home but they do nothing at all. It`s no point in even having a word with them to see if they would ask them to quieten down a bit because they won`t take any notice. Before long one of the boys will injure the other and then goodness knows what will happen...sigh.
Anyway, on that cheerful note...lol! I will say farewell to you all and read what`s left of my journals. I hope you all have a very nice evening, take care and Bye Bye for now. :o)

I do that sometimes, get online & go back & forth beteen doing other things! Someone asked me the other day if I lived online. LOL I guess it does look like that sometimes. hehehe
GRRR hate to hear about the dog, did you rd my Fur Baby entry today? Sign that petition!
Hope your neighbors children don't get hurt.
Have a good weekend, Sug
Hi do you think Jan might do my ironing too I have a big pile after our holiday. What a terrible story about the dog what is this world coming to. Love Joan.
That is so terrible for anyone to torture an animal like that. There is no telling what they did to the poor thing before they threw him out the window. I hope they capture who is responsible for that. Helen
Sometimes I hop on and off the p.c. . LOL. I have to make myself turn it off sometimes otherwise before you know another hour has gone by.I felt so angry reading about that dog this morning. .its hard to grasp that just one person could think of doing that never mind three of them in the same mindset. . their minds must be altered with drugs or something to do that. . I cant understand them. . its frightening really.
I do that all the time when I'm home. Keep the computer on...do a few chores....go back online...go do chores...back and forth etc. Do I live online...? Sometimes...yeah.
Sorry to hear about that doggie. I can't imagine being that cruel. What are those kids thinking? It shows what true evil there is around.
Congrats on the new baby. Sorry you won't be seeing them soon, though. That's how my family is. Pretty distant. We gather at weddings and funerals.
Have a good evening.........Pam
I felt sick reading about that poor dog, it just sickens me. As for your neighbours there are steps you can take now, you do not have to put up with things like that especially the language. There are anti-social behaviour orders. I could not put up with something like that. I have been popping on and off the computer as well.
Just dropping in friend. Tammy
Sounds like you've had a busy day.
That poor dog
Some people are really heartless
well enjoy the rest of your day
Hugs, Marina
Those people want locking up for what they did to that dog, the poor creature. How could anyone even think of it? It makes me angry. I hope your neighbours kids quieten down before one of them gets hurt. Have a lovely Sunday! Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels
What an awful thing to do to any trusting animal. In this state animal cruelty like that is now a felony charge and the abusers can go to prison. The problem is that children who abuse animals often abuse or kill humans as they get older. No regard for life..animal or human is a scary thing. I had noisey neighbors (mostly that loud boom, boom music) finally had to call & complain to the police & they sent a community service officer out to the house to speak to them. I think in your case however, that would be just adding fuel to the fire. Maybe a casual word in an over the fence chat with the mom, when you get the chance would help. like " Gee your boys do like to fight don't they? Wow, doesn't that bother you?" Touchy business...Linda in WA
By the way Jan..I've got some ironing here too that needs to be done. Linda in WA
So sad about the poor dog. That made me cry. And your neighbors kids fighting. That's awful. The law will be called in sooner or later. Take care

That poor animal.what are they like some children today,my mind boggles. It's the future I worry about.Nothing seems to get any better on this subject.Neighbours from hell I call them must be a nightmare.Afraid I have been real lucky with all my neighbours in the past and now at this present time.Whic counts for plenty in my eyes Sandra.I don't think families today visit or see as much as we used to yrs ago.Love the end Graphic it is fabulous.Take care.

Those are sick individuals to cause the death of the poor dog. They traumatized the people that had to find a live animal needing to be put to sleep also. I have been doing some photo and art print printing on my computers/printers today and enjoy being able to focus in on getting the results through editing software. I have been also reading and resting as the nerve going to my hip and leg is very painful. The more I try to use it doing normal light work activity, the worse it gets. The physical therapist is telling me the spinal narrowing is causing it. Congratulations on Jim's nephew's newborn. It will be a surprize when you finally get to see the great nephew. Hope you have a good week ahead. mark
That poor dog those rotten so and so's want more than locking up they want the same treatment, being thrown out of the same window and left, but what will happen to them?, NOTHING all they will get is a slapped wrist and told not to do it again, law in this country is to soft with young offenders now a days.
My old neighbours used to always be falling out only it wasnt the children falling out it was mother and daughter, and the language and the names they used to call each other was dreadful, its so peaceful where we live now.
take care Lynne xx

Morning Sandra ~ just read your last entry and am so pleased you have an interview for a job ~ I do so hope they give you a chance to get back to work ~ Glad the weather is holding out it is nice here today ~ congratulations on the birth of a grandson to Jim's brother ~ does that make Jim a Great Uncle ? Harry what a nice name ~ I hope they get those little Morons that did that to a poor defenceless creature ~ Hope your neighbours children stop their arguing it must be upsetting for you both ~ there must be somewhere you could report them (you want to record the noise when they argue) then you will have proof of what is going on ~ Ally
I am gobsmacked but not surprised I guess at the creulty that exists around us.

Oh that is just horrible, about that poor dog. I cannot imagine what gets into these people, to be so cruel to an innocent animal like that.
