Here`s Hoping!

Hello Everyone,

I`m re-doing my entry because I lost the lot again the same as last night.  Again I didn`t do anything wrong,  I  pressed save and it came up `journals unavailable`...grrr!  AOL has been a bit funny the last few days, running really slowly and doing things like that.  I`ve decided to follow Joan`s (Joans Musings) advice to press control and N, a little box appears and to type it in there.  Copy and paste to journal and hopefully, fingers crossed, everything will be alright...we`ll see, with my luck anything might happen!

Kerry and I had a lovely afternoon in Windsor.  It was really warm and sunny despite the forecast of heavy showers, none materialised and the umbrella I took along wasn`t needed.  You can bet if I didn`t take it, it would have poured down,  Murphy`s law I suppose.  I didn`t spend any money on clothes though I saw a lovely skirt in the sale at Monsoon, but it was  the wrong size more`s the pity.

I`m not doing a longer entry because I spent ages doing the first one.  I`ll say Goodbye and hope you like the photos from yesterday.  Have a great evening everyone. :o)

So glad my cont/n worked for you and you get a good selection of fonts and colours too so all in all its quite good I will have to go and delete some of mine as I have an awful lot saved and I keep forgetting to delete.  That looks like a lot of rain we still have not had any for about 2 weeks but the forecast says it will rain tonight.  Take care Joan.

Cute pictures of Roman. It won't be long until he will figure out how to open that gate.  The rain looks lovely as we are so dry here. I have been having troubles with AOL for a while now. I have been leaving AOL on all day everyday otherwise when I try to pull it up it just sits there forever and then a box appears after a while and tells me to restart my computer to install updates. On the keyboard here you can hold the ctrl tab while pressing the D key to get a box to work in.
No, I didn't get an alert except where you were practicing. Hugs, Helen

Loved all the pictures especially Roman.  It has been great to see the rain, everything is getting so green again.  Now they have forecast storms but whether our area will get them I do not know. They have had whirlwinds and flash floods in Norfolk.  I learned not to trust aol. a long time ago so I always use Microsoft works and type it up in processor. That way if you lose it you only have to copy and paste and also you can spell check it all first.

I always use the little box & copy & paste, it's very useful. I haven't been into Windsor for a while. Lovely photos!

I am still catching up on journals with 394 emails/alerts in my box  lol   .     I enjoyed the photos of Roman and he is drinking from a cup which is early for a baby.    The temp her is just below 90F, which is much better than it had been.    I have been having bad back pain and am just doing light work a few hours a day and the rest of the time laying on my board/cushion reading or resting.    The pain kept me up most of last night so I was finally able to get some sleep until 10:30 a.m.      I am optimistic about getting the addition done but it is going slowly and I am by myself for a few days.     I have help to do the heavy lifting for me.     He talks constantly and I can't even think when he is around but I need the help and he is the lowest wages I can find.     I just like working in silence unless there is something that has to do with the construction.     I also don't trust him in my house anymore after having a letter pertaining to a credit card application missing from where I knew I put it.      He knew I had applied for it in conversation with him when I trusted him.     He has mental problems and is on a disability due to it.   I hope things get better.    Best wishes to you and your family,    mark

Nice to see some rain and the photos of the little man. He's growing up quickly.  Sorry you had trouble losing your entries.  AOL gremlins.  GRRR  If I am planning a long entry I almost always do it in "notepad" then copy and paste. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Barb

Do you have dial-up?  I hated AOL that way.  It annoyed the heck out of me, especially when I got access to a faster computer, and then had to go back to my home internet access.  I have a friend who is stuck with dial-up because she lives so far out.  I tease her all the time.
LOVE THE PROVERBS!
