We`re Going to The Farm!

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the remains of a sunny  Saturday.  Today has been a very productive day from a housework point of view.  I`ve cleaned the house from top to bottom, not an easy task with the decorating going on.  I really needed time to clean up properly and as Jim was at a fishing show since early morning  I decided to get stuck in.  Everything was covered in black dust despite doors being closed and there being covers over most things.  The stuff just seems to have found it`s way in, Oh well, I`ve got rid of most of it even though Jim is starting all over tomorrow, at least it`s clean for now.  Tomorrow afternoon we are going to a place called Odds Farm Park with Kerry ,Slava and Roman.  It`s a kind of petting zoo but with lots of other features and it looks like fun so I`ll take the camera along.  I think you get the chance to milk a cow...but I think I would pass on that, me and cows just don`t get on!

I don`t know what`s going on with my FTP space but it won`t let me upload anything as it keeps saying there`s a download going on!  What download, I ask, I haven`t downloaded anything...hmm, perhaps I`ve got a virtual ghost in the PC...lol!  Anyway I`ve had to use older graphics that I`ve used before, it`s AOL again, causing more trouble!

I thought I`d let Scruffy the puppy back again....................... but I`ve told him he has to behave and not to tell Jake he`s here again or he might get a sharp nip!  I`ll have to look around and see if there are anyfriends of Scruffy who might like to join him here, I`m sure there are lots of other doggy pals for him to play with.  I just thought, if you haven`t been there already, go to Jeannette`s Jottings and see what a nice surprise is there, trust me, you`ll love it!

That`s it really, it was mainly boring housework and that took up most of the day, so have a lovely evening and put your feet up.  Bye Bye for now.

Glad you had a productive day and got cleaned up but just think, you will have to do it all again.  We used to have a lovely petting soon just near Becky and Dean and it had rare breeds as well, a nice little cafe, picnic tables etc. etc.  Unfortunately because it was out of the way and popularly known, it closed down.  Such a shame, the boys would have loved it.  Never mind we have Marsh Farm for them which is somewhat similar but more of a journey away.  Like your little doggie friend.  Thanks for the mention.  Had no trouble so far with graphics and pics but then, as you know, I do not use FTP

Have fun at the farm. I used to have two milk cows that I really milked. Not living on a farm anymore. I was thrilled to read Jeannettes entry this morning. I think the pup favors Pip at least his colors do. Have a good night and make Scruffy behave now. Helen

I hope the weather stays fine for your trip to the farm park. I'm sure Scruffy will behave himself now he's been threatened with Jake! Glad you managed to get some housework done. Jeannette xxxx

Milked cows and goats too many times to remember, during the first twenty years of married life. Like you, I never did whole heartedly trust the cows though. Don't forget your wellies, have a lovely time.
