Hello everyone,
Welcome to my Scribbles. It`s been another cold day today, very overcast and miserable too, just the kind of day I really could do without at the moment. I`m still feeling down over the job yesterday and I`ve even thought about telling them that I`ve changed my mind and I`d like the interview after all. But in truth, it wouldn`t be a good idea as I`d be working full-time for three days and that would mean leaving Jake most of the day and he wouldn`t cope well. That was the main reason why his last owner put him in rescue because he pined being left all day on his own, although that was for 13 hrs a day. No, I have to deal with it not being right for me at the moment. I will say though, if the right job comes my way I`ve already told Kerry that I will have to take it. She does understand and can look for child-care elsewhere but I don`t want that to happen if I can help it.
After walking Jake I went to Kerry`s for a coffee. Roman was really pleased to see me and was full of smiles and was very vocal! I love this new stage where he is expressing himself so well, he holds his arms out to me and Jim and it`s a wonderful feeling knowing he is happy to be with us. Kerry went back to work and left him watching the CeeBeebies on TV with his Grandad. He was happy most of the time but was very tired as he often is by late afternoon, in fact, he isn`t the only one who was tired, Jim was sleepy too after his early shift and I`d forgotten just how tiring it is looking after a baby. It`s worth it though, one look at his angelic (sleeping) face makes me feel all warm inside. :o) I gave him his bottle and read his bedtime story, Mr Funny. He seems to realise that it`s time for bed and relaxes when he`s being read to, though Jim thought Mr Funny was rather silly...lol!
I`ll say goodbye now and go and read what`s left of the journals. I`ve been good and read most of them this afternoon. Have a lovely evening and take care.

Cute graphic, that is great that Roman recognises you and Jim. I know caring for a little one would exaust me. Hope a good job comes along that you can do part time so as to keep Roman and not have to leave Jake at home so long by himself. Helen
First your graphic is fantastic ,dont get to despondent about the job the right one will come along ,I'm sure ,meanwhile enjoy your time with Roman its precious and passes all too quickly ,my eldest grandson is twenty three now !!Your sig tag is also lovely ,looks like white chocolate Mmm...............Jan xx
Sam is the same, thats why I cannot take a full time job(9 to 5)...he would start getting agitated after too long in the day time, yet he is fine when we go out in the evening....it is a dog thing I think!!!!
I think you were right not to have that job Sandra. . .you would only be anxious about Jake.Three days a week is quite a lot.Have you tired the local hospital nurse bank? They pay well and you can choose when you work .This almost always leads to a permanent job.
Sandra I am sure something will come along that will suit you just fine...and you will still be able to look after Roman...try not to feel down about the job hopefully they will come back to you with something to suit you....fingers crossed....small children are hard work but as you say worth it.....have a good night Sandra and may tomorrow bring you the perfect job....Ally
Oh what a shame about that job :o(
Stay positive though Sandra, something more suitable will come along I'm sure.
I loved that stage too, that Roman is at now, bless him :o)

Sorry you're feeling down about the job, I'm sure another better one will come your way soon. You've still got Roman to cheer you up when you're down, he'll be up on his feet in no time then you'll be too tired to work after running round after him!! Jeannette.
Hehehe love the top graphic today...Something will turn up this one just wasn't mean to be so keep your chin up :o) Caff xxx
I hope Thursday brings sunshine and smiles...and a better day all together. I know you will know the right job, right one to take...and so nice Kerry understands your feelings. Roman sounds like he is at the cutest stage yet. Next will be walking and talking. Hope you have a very nice evening...nite.
Hugs,
Joyce

How lovely that Roman gets excited to see you and Jim.I get tired after looking after the grandchildren.I'm sure there is a job just waiting for you somewhere.......Love Jeanxx
When I worked out of the home I found this wonderfull place called "Doggy Daycare" which I took Luke my lab to for the day while I was at worked. He LOVED it and came home happy and worn out! I wish they had one here even so I could take him once a week for the experiance. You are a good doggy mom to take such good care of Jake.
Kara :)
Babies are tiresome! I think we all forget how much work they are!! I am sorry to hear the job wasnt for you. One will come along i am sure and you will have a good fit to your life with Jake, Jim, Roman and your kids and SIL!
Love, lisa jo
