This could have been our Rosie!
Hello everyone,
I hope you`ve all had a good day. I thought I`d better tell you that I didn`t even get an interview with that company. I called them on Monday morning and the woman told asked me if I could several different things on the computer and I had to be honest and say I couldn`t. She was really nice and said that they needed someone with experience and they didn`t have time to train anyone. She took my phone number for future refernce but I doubt I`ll hear from them. I dropped my CV into the vets surgery and I know they`ll keep it on file, but I need a job now, so I`ll just have to keep trying...sigh.
This afternoon I went out with Kerry, she needed a bit of shopping and we walked around Matalans and looked at the childrens clothes. I was imagining Roman in this shirt or those trousers, teamed with that jacket, but he has enough clothes to last the winter season and as I`m a bit short of cash I was good and didn`t buy him anything. Kerry bought him a cute little pair of soft shoes for when they go out. She offered me a Cadburys creme egg but again I was good and said no to it, I must admit to nearly giving in and eating it there and then...lol!
Yesterday, Kerry took Roman to the baby message group and had a great time. She said the other babies there were all younger than Roman but they were all good. The woman who runs the class says it is good for the babies confidence and she passed on some good tips to the Mums. Kerry says she`ll go for another six weeks and then she will take Roman to a baby gym group. She has all these activities lined up for him and he`s not quite six months old yet. I wish my social life was that good!
Later we went back to Kerry`s flat and I helped her sort out her computer. It`s an old one that was given to them by a friend who has a new one. Kerry said it is running really slowly and it takes ages to close down. I had a look and cleared out quite a few old programmes, cleared the history and cookies and internet files. I don`t think anyone has cleaned it out ever. Anyway, it`s running much faster now and tomorrow we`ll give it a defrag. I`m going to encourage her to start a journal if she ever has the time. I have mentioned it to her in the past and she sort of agreed. I`ll give her a little reminder later. :o)
Jim has finished his shift for this week and has the next two days off. He`ll spend most of that decorating, there`s still quite a bit of varnish removing to do, but he`s doing a grand job so I won`t complain. I must go now as I want to watch a program at 8.30. I hope you have a nice evening and Bye Bye for now.

I would love it if Kerry had a journal....how cool would that be? I hope that you land a job soon....the Lord knows i know all about being broke.
Love, lisa jo
Sandra sorry about that job - what amazes me is how can you get experience if no one has time to train - You would think they would prefer to train in house as then they would be able to teach you the way they want you to work...the baby massage group sounds like a good idea...would be lovely if Kerry does start a journal....
