JUST STUFF FOR A FRIDAY

Hello everyone,

My PC was messing me about this afternoon...and very annoying it was to say the least.  I don`t know why it does this but every now and again, when I  highlight a shortcut, all the other shortcuts try to open as well.  I then had to open the programs via the start menu, being very careful not to open anything else at the same time.  When I opened one of my graphic files and tried to rename something, it renamed not just the one but all of the graphics in that folder...I was furious.  At least thirty of them have already been used and would be used again but now I had no idea of their original names, leaving me to delete them from the FTP space and to remove the red crosses from my journal pages.  I`ve no idea why this happenns sometimes, it happened in December and all my Christmas graphics were affected.  There`s obviously a problem but I`ve no idea what caused it.

I1ve now got the buggy/stroller for taking Roman out in.  It`s in brilliant condition and by the looks of it I doubt it was used very much.  I thought it would need a good clean but it really doesn`t need it.  I was practising folding it up and putting it back up again this morning, they are not as easy as when my children were babies, nowadays you need a degree in engineering to sort them out!  Kerry asked if I wanted to swop it for the one she has but I told her to forget it, this Nana is keeping it right here at her house...lol!  I`m already for our Little Man to come over for the evening.  I have his food ready and his cot prepared, his toys are downstairs and his Grandad is ready to play with him...what more can he want?!

I went into town and had that cup of coffee with Jim in Marks.  The nice lady who works in the cafe always asks after Roman.  She adores him and wondered why he wasn`t there today.  Kerry had taken him to a Mother and Baby class but she wasn`t very impressed by it.  She said the women there didn`t talk to each other, and even though she walked it with a big smile and a good morning, they barely acknowledged her.  She did try to talk to one mother and all she got were monosyllibic answers so she gave up trying.  It was a pity because the activities were great fun and Roman enjoyed it all.  She is now going to try another club on Tuesday or Wednesday, hopefully the people there will be friendlier!

Anyway, I must go and read some journals before Little Man arrives, hopefully I`ll be back when he goes to bed tonight.  Have a lovely weekend and take care.  Bye for now.

Love the graphic today. I hope Kerry finds a friendlier bunch of people at the other place she is going. Those others should start a journal to learn how to make friends LOL. Glad you are enjoying keeping Roman while mom works. Those were some interesting facts. I disagree with the one about the teeth being the only part of the human body that can't repair themselves. My back has not repaired itself. I wish, sigh! That would be great. Have a good night with Roman and also have a good weekend.
Hugs, Helen

I hope the computer problems clear up soon...I too have had them in the past and it is so I know your frustration.  Sounds like Roman loves going out in his buggie....the fresh air is really good for them.  I too, used to keep items at my house when they were little...had to have my own items.  The baby classes sound very nice...bet Roman is enjoying them right along with Kerry.
Hope you and Jim have a wonderful time tonight at his Christmas party...take the camera!!!
Hugs,
Joyce

Computer problems!  Hope you get it sorted.  AOL are driving me nuts at the moment, no alerts and then lots of alerts with just the first line and wirless device. If you only visit a few journals and know them well, no problem but if you have a lot on alerts as I do, then you cannot remember the name of the damned journal and you can only store so many under favourites.

Pretty picture in your journal.
I hope you get your journal fixed!
