ROMAN AND THE BUBBLES!

 

Hello everyone,

How are you all today?  I`ve had my hands full the last couple of days again what with catching up on some housework yesterday, the usual stuff, ironing, doing the washing, walking Jake and getting my hair done for Christmas.  By the time I`d finished everything I decided to give Kerry a visit as I was feeling tired, especially as I hadn`t slept at all well the night before.  By the time I logged on I really didn`t have it in me to post an entry and decided just to read journals instead.

                                    

Today, as Kerry and I returned from visiting a friend, there were lot`s of police motorbikes in my road and they were had pulled up cars and lorries by the side of the road and were giving out tickets to some very fed-up looking motorists.  I would think they were breaking the speed limit and the police were having a purge.  One of the motorists I noticed to my amusement, was an ex work colleague who I did not get on with at all, and I must admit to feeling quite pleased that he had been `nicked`.  Serves him right for quite a few things that have happened in the past....lol!  The police decided to disppear just before the school traffic appeared, typical, they could have made a fortune in parking fines if they`d waited a bit longer!  Kerry came over again this afternoon and I took some photos of him sitting in his Grandad`s favourite armchair.

His favourite new thing is blowing bubbles, it`s so funny to listen to him as he sounds as if he`s underwater.  He seems tobe developing so rapidly and to think he is 5 months on the 28th December.  It seems only yesterday that he was this tiny little thing that slept most of the time, now he has his own little personality.  I know I`m biased but he is so gorgeous, I do love being his Nanna!

                                        

                                        

There are some people in the `Crime House` but they are not the owners. I think they have friends looking after the house for them.  I wish I could find out more but all I see is the old car parked in their drive.  Still, I`ll keep on snooping, and hope I`ll come up with something of interest.  I had a doctor`s appointment this morning about the arthritis I have in my hands.  I don`t know why I bothered at all because she seemed as though she couldn`t be bothered today and told me to take painkillers, okay fine, but I have to be careful with them as I`ve had problems in the past so I wanted to know what is safest for me to take.  Then she DID give me some advice but  felt almost guilty for being there and I don`t think any doctor should make you feel like that....Oh well,  I won`t be hurrying back soon, I can tell you.

                                      

I watched the second part of `Secret Smile` last night, what an excellent drama that was, we really do need more like that.  Then today I watched the TV film Magnificent Seven, starring Helena Bonham-Carter and I admit to shedding a few tears.  It was a lovely film, through and through. Well worth the watch.  Well, I`ll sign off now.  I hope everyone is having a lovely day, take care and Bye Bye for now.
