A COLD AND FROSTY MORNING

Hello everyone,

Welcome to Saturday afternoon in chilly England.  I  opened the curtains this morning to find the world covered in frost, not all all what I expected as it wasn`t there at 5am this morning.  This made a nice change from the nasty fog that we`ve had the last two days.  I gacve the house a good clean this morning and after lunch we climbed into the loft....well Jim did at any rate....and brought down the Christmas decorations, there was a minor drama when he said he couldn`t find the tree but after looking around for a bit he located it and passed it down.  So now the tree is up and decorated and the lights are prettily twinkling away and looking rather festive.  I wonder if Roman will notice them tonight?  Kerry brought over some of his things, his bouncy chair and his baby-gym, I know she is a bit worried about leaving him tonight, very understandable of course, but I told her not to ruin her evening by over-worrying.  I will text her when he is asleep tonight to help reassure her, so she really can enjoy this night out with her hubby.

Tomorrow we are going to see Harry Potter, we decided that the late afternoon performance is the one we`ll see as I won`t fancy going out later and Jim has to get up early Monday morning.  Jim said maybe next week we can go and see the Narnia Chronicles or maybe King Kong.  I think it will have to be Narnia as I don`t fancy King Kong much.

The `Crime House` has no-one there at the moment from what I can tell.  In the week someone stays and sees the children off to school but you don`t see them come and go.  I think they leave and arrive under cover of darkness, very mysterious, perhaps they are staying out of the way of prying neighbours...lol!  I scanned the local paper that came yesterday and found nothing, not a word, so maybe we will have to wait until it comes to court.  I`ll let you know as info. comes my way.

I won`t be on here for long as I have dinner to prepare and Roman will be here in 20mins. So I hope you`re weekend is going well and you are having a great Saturday.  Take care and bye Bye for now.

Your journal is so Christmassy Sandra. I had great plans for mine, which have fallen by the wayside, since little sis joined us. She went home again on Thursday, after we got more probs sorted for her, and seemed a lot more settled. She's still not completely recovered, but I'm hoping, as it is so near to Christmas, she will be able to keep herself occupied. Sitting alone all day, doing nothing, with severe depression isn't what she needs. It's open house for her here, should she start running down again.
Hope to start journalling again soon.
Love sylvia xx

Enjoy your time with Roman tonight. You'll like Harry Potter, they've all been good films. I saw Narnia today, it was brilliant and seemed to go very quickly. Jeannette.

It is very cold here too and very frosty as you say...so happy Jim came across your tree...I know you were relieved on finding it.  I know Roman is enjoying Grandma's tree...all of mine come and just love it at my house...I do the baking of cookies all the time so the smell of cookies and the tree make them feel so warm and cozy here.  I know all to well how many baby items go with baby in tow...they have to have each one too.  Moms always worry and you know this...Kerry is just a good Mom....no a great one to worry about her son, but he is the trusted hands of Grandma...so she need not worry.  Hope she had a great time!
That is so strange nothing at all in the papers about the house with the interesting happenings...that happens here too.  Strange how some things make the papers and others don't.  Hope all went well...take care and enjoy the movie!
Hugs,
Joyce

It was a lovely sunny day here!!  I hope Kerry had a lovely evening and didn't worry about Roman too much :-)  Of course he'll be ok with gran ;-)  Glad you found your tree.......

Glad you found the tree...can't have Christmas w/o it.  Now, hope everything went well with Roman there.
I've heard that you all "text" each other much more than we do here.  You all "text" each other and America copied the concept.  I forget where I heard that.  I hardly EVER use text...just the phone.  More of the teens are into it here.
LOL.
