SATURDAY CRUMBS!

Hello everyone and a very happy Saturday to you all,

The above photo is the first one taken with our brand new camera.  Jim put it on automatic and took this in my `office`.  I must admit I like it because it`s a nice one of us both.  The camera is tiny and even with my glasses on I find it hard to see the settings.  It`s a Kodak, the same as the other one so it will be easy to use.  The software is almost exactly the same.

It`s a beautiful sunny day today, though it`s getting much cooler in the mornings.  This morning was quite nippy and I thought about putting the heating on but thought better of it.  It`s a good drying day and the washing is on the line, nearly dry.  This afternoon we are taking Jake to Upton Park so he can have a good run and we can get some photos.  Another excuse to use the new toy!

Jim is still full of cold but he`s not feeling nearly as bad as he was..  I`m sure I`m coming down with it as I have a tickly throat and I`m a bit sniffly...Oh well, not much I can do about it, it`s only a cold.

Yesterday I went Christmas shopping with Kerry but we didn`t even look at any presents.  We just mooched about the town, went into Marks and Spencer for a coffee, and to feed Roman.  Mooched about a bit more and then went home.  I only posted a `tagging` entry yesterday as I had my hands full with all the emails I had.  By the time I`d walked Jake in the afternoon, done some housework and prepared dinner, I didn`t have a lot of time left, but I read all the journals like the good girl I am as I don`t like to miss out on any news!   Danny rang me to say that he is coming over on Sunday.  I asked him to stay for dinner as Kerry will be here as Slava is busy.  I have a nice joint of beef to roast so there is plenty of food to go round.  It should be nice to have both the kids round, lets hope there are no problems.

I just love this graphic!

This morning I decided that the house needed an extra clean so I got stuck in with the housework and gave it a thorough polish, dust and vacuum, it is so clean and I wish it would stay that way.  Especially my office which was really dusty and untidy.  As it is the shelves need tidying badly and I`ve sorted out some papers to be shredded.  At least it`s possible to see my computer table and the keyboard, which was full of biscuit crumbs and coffee stains.   I`ve managed to get rid of most of the crumbs but some were stubborn and refused to shift, even though I tipped up the keyboard and bashed and shook the thing vigourously.   I have now decided not to take food into the office....except for a biscuit with my afternoon coffee, and I will use a plate so it will catch any crumbs.  (that`s the plan anyway!)

That`s it for now.  I`ll leave you now hoping you will have a lovely weekend.  Take good care all of you.

Thanks to Lisa Jo for the tag!

GREAT PHOTO of you both....love it.  Can't wait to see the ones of Jake at the park.  Also the many that are sure to come of Little Man (Roman).  I hope all works out for the visit by Danny and family on Sunday.  I just got a call from my son to go out to dinner with him and wife tonight.  Hmmmm, this should be an interesting outing and post for my journal tomorrow...Will have to get photos of both of them.  Sounds like all of little mans outing with you and Kerry are special.  I bet everyone makes over him when all of you are out.  I know I would.
Hope Jim feels better soon and you both have a great weekend...I am headed off to clean the whole house ...we have that in common today!
Hugs,
Joyce

Sandra, what a great picture of you and Jim ! Oh I love the shower gel from Marks & Spencer...I'm using my last one, purchased in Victoria, B.C.  Even tho I sell & use Avon products..it's always fun to have another brand for a variety.  Sounds like you both need some chicken soup for those colds.  Stay well and have a good day.

Nice pick of you....And I love those lace curtains behind you.  LOL.
Hope you all don't get too sickly.  I wish you would send us our cool fall air.  It's still pressing 90 here these days.  I think I see 70's in the forecast next week.  Have a good weekend.

Wonderful picture of you and Jim!  My "office" is the living room because we have nowhere else for the computer. Glad you had a good outing with Kerry.  Road beef sounds good tomorrow, can I come?

That is such a lovely natural picture you both look happy and well. Christmas shopping - The shops are full of Christmas ware now, and it's only the end of September. I just refuse to do any until December.
Dog and Cat grapic is oh so nice.   Can just imagine you shaking your keyboard. A plate for the crumbs is the answer.   Hope your weekend is good....Ally
