NOT MUCH TODAY!

Hello everyone,

Just look at Grandad Jim with Roman fast asleep in his LAP!  He started out on his shoulder but after falling into a deep sleep gradually slipped down and ended up in what must be the most comfortable position.  Little Man will grow up to adore his grandad I`m sure.

I haven`t paid much attention today with regard to the petrol blockades but Jim tells me there are not really any but people are still panic buying. Apparently one man queued up for ages just to buy £1.30`s worth of fuel!  We`ll see what happens but it won`t affect affect me directly as I`m saving my fuel in case Jim needs my car for work.  Public transport just wouldn`t get him there at 4.am or home at 11.30pm.

This morning I finished all the ironing from the holiday, phew.....I`m glad I`ve got that out of the way, despite the fact that by Friday the basket will be full again, a woman`s work and all that...lol!

I`ve just started a new book, it`s called How To Be Good by Nick Hornby.  It`s a really good read and very funny, something that I like in a book.  It`s about a woman doctor who`s marriage is in trouble.  How can that be funny you ask?  Well it is, I can assure you and I`m going through it really quickly.  I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good yarn that makes them smile!

I had a phone call from Danny last night and it was a bit disturbing.  I know he is feeling down at the moment and he wants to come and stay with us for the weekend. It will be nice to have him here and he will be on Friday night after work. On the Saturday, the men are going out for a drink to `wet the babies head`.  Kerry is coming here with Little Man and we can have a nice peaceful dinner, free of distractions...lol!  That night our brother-in-law is staying as well as Dan, so one of them will have to sleep on the sofa.

Kerry has arrived with Roman and I`ve left her to feed him while I finish this entry off.  So I will say goodbye for now and enjoy your day and take care.
