Hello everyone,
I haven`t had time to post an entry about my holiday today as I`ve been out most of the day and the rest of the time I`ve been sorting things out for our trip to Dorset tomorrow. It will give you a weeks break from Canada tales at least...lol! But never fear, when I return I shall bore you with my intrepid stories of darkest Dorset..... now won`t that be a treat? lol!
We spent the morning shopping and sorting out an error caused by our bank, successfully I might add. This afternoon we visited Jim`s mum at the nursing home and then his sister and brother-in-law. Jim took the above photo of me, Kerry and Roman. I liked it so much I thought I`d share it with you, mind you I adore almost all the photos of Roman but I can`t show you them all!
For those of you who haven`t had a comment from me today, I do apologise but I`m short of time and I have read MOST of them but commented on just a few. When I get back I start all over again. Jim and I have agreed that we are still a little jet-lagged as we are both not sleeping well and feel tired all the time but hopefully we should be back to normal soon. I feel exhausted now but I know I wouldn`t sleep for hours yet.
I have it on fairly good authority that the weather should stay fine though to the middle of next week. I hope so but as long as it stays dry I will be happy, but if it does rain, we`ll still be out and about. I won`t stay indoors while I`m on holiday.
Welcome to the new members of my Quarry Critter family. On the left eating the honey is Brambles and on the right is Bitty Betsy and her babies, who I shall name later, any suggestions? It has to begin with B so you choose the names for me and I`ll let you know who is successful. Jim bought me Brambles as an anniversary present and I bought Bitty Betsy myself. The little shop where we bought them hasn`t yet closed down and the owner told me that they close at the end of September. The thing is their Quarry Crittters are reduced in price at the moment so I am very tempted to buy a few more.....before long they will take over the house...lol! but they are so cute I can`t resist them.
Well I must finish reading the other journals I have left. I`ll see you all when I get back. Take care all of you and goodbye for now!
