KERRY`S TRAVELS CONT`D

This is Kerry and hubby Slava when they were on their last contract onboard the "Topaz"   It was a smashing little British ship, that used to be the "Empress of Britain", me and hubby Jim were there and took the photo while we sailed on the Atlantic cruise covering the Canaries, Morocco, Madiera and Majorca.  This day we were at at sea most of the day and it was glorious weather but come the evening we were caught up in a Force 9 storm.  It was very scary and lots of passengers were seasick.  Luckily I was one of the few that never suffers from it though I did think that the way the ship was creaking and groaning that it would end up like the Titanic !    The ship was, after the season was out, on its way to a breakers yard as it was very old and had seen better days.   But we had a lovely time on board and it seemed a shame.

Looks like they were having a wonderful time. I have never taken a cruise before and have often thought about taking one. It must have been beautiful out there, storm and all. God Bless

I love the water.  I remember once crossing the Irish Sea.  The weather was dreadful.  Even some of the crew were being sick and people were lying around everywhere and throwing up.  Never affected me in the least.  Do not get the chance nowadays but I still love the sea and water in general. xxxxx
