JUST POPPING IN

I thought I`d better post an entry while I have the time before I rush off to work.  I have been so busy lately that I don`t seem to have time to draw breath.  I have spent much of the weekend, well Sunday at least wrapping up all the Christmas presents whilst nursing a hangover from the night before. Saturday night was a big family party get-together in a hotel we had booked for the occasion.  We all ate , drank, danced and were rather merry by the end of it all.  But it was a fantastic night and I have loads of photos but not the time at present to post them today, so they will have to wait till the weekend.  I have caught up more or less, with my journal reading so I don`t lose track of the main events in my journo-friends lives.

I`m really looking forward to Saturday because I will get my tree down from the loft and decorate it and make the house look festive , I do so love this time of year but I do wish the weather were colder and frostier.   Still, we can`t help the weather though maybe it will get cold in time for Christmas.  Also Saturday is the day I feill the freezer up with Christmas fare.  Every year I say I will buy less, but do I ? ....Nope  !!!

Well I only have two pressies left to buy and I know just what to get, so happy shopping everyone and I am off to earn a crust!   Bye for Now.

The party sounds fun, will look forward to seeing the photos.

I only have presents to wrap now but I have to be in the mood for that!  No food shopping done either but Mike does most of that anyway, poor Mike!!!
Can imagine how busy you are, I think it was easier when they had two deliveries.  At least they got through the mail quicker then. xxxx

Hi Sandra,
Loved reading about your family party. Did you get ALL  the presents wrapped. Way to go...I haven't even started. Oh please take a picture of your tree and post it in your journal. I can't wait to see it. How do you decorate trees in England, much like we do in America? And I love that Santa. Can't wait to see the pictures of the family having the party. :)
I will be back soon...I am sure your tree will be beautiful. And maybe you will get your wish of colder weather. It isn't cold here in Missouri either. I love when it snows on Christmas, that makes it even more special.
Sharon :)
