Welcome to my journal. I`m 57 and have been married to Jim for 36 yrs, have two grown up children, a son Daniel who is 32 and a daughter Kerry who is 35. She is married to Slava and they have Roman who is 4 1/2 and his baby sister Sophie who is 8mths old. Daniel is now single after a long term relationship though I dearly hope he won`t be on his own for long. Sandra, I just do not know what to say for fear of upsetting you more. But maybe Hannah herself knows it is time, it is funny how animals can know or decide. The same thing happened to our Bonnie who had cancer. She survived the op but four months later it all came back with a vengeance. One day, very unusually for her, she jumped up on the sofa where she knew she was not allowed and had never been before. She had stopped eating the night before. She looked at us as if to ask us to do what we had to do. It broke our hearts, although we have two dogs now she has never been forgotten. It made us feel like murderers but you have to accept that it is the last possible kindness you can do for your lovely and faithful friend and family member. Please know that you are in our thoughts. I know what you are going through, truly I do. It is a situation none of us want to face. God bless dear friend.
