Well the day has come for me to return to the fold of Royal Mail where I have been employed for too long! I only have till Christmas though, as then I am to be made redundant and I cannot wait for that to happen. Still in the meantime I will soldier on and earn a little cash for the next big event coming up.....Christmas! Doesnt it just seem to creep up on you? Still I have it all planned, who to buy for and what to buy them, but I bet it will still cost a fortune after I promise each year to cut back on spending as the `children` are now 30 and 27 and no sign of grandchildren to buy toys for. Kerrys 30th birthday was on Sat. the 11th and we still havent found the right present for her. Mind you I have seen a lovely watch and I know she would like one so I think it would be a good idea, its got a pink strap, her favourite colour.
So is it just me or does Christmas really dominate the next few months? I would like to hear the opinions of others. Last year was a lovely Christmas here, nothing went wrong, no tiffs or spats were had by anyone so I dont think it can happen two years running.
I am now off to get ready for work and I am wondering what has happened there without me, did they cope ? Has the boss run off with his secretary? Am I to get a huge rise? did you see that pig fly past the window....hahaha!

I remember the time when Christmas did not start in September. Ah me, those were the days.
