Hello Everyone,
Just a flying visit to let you know that poor Jake might have a fractured toe. The vet told us to give him the remaining Rimadyl tablets and to keep him rested. If he`s no better by Monday it`ll mean an X-Ray. I`ll explain properly tomorrow. Bye for now. :o)

Hi Sandra...! I don't recall that I've visited you at this journal before. My Misty broke her toe a couple of years ago. She broke it while running to catch a ball, slid on the floor, and crashed into the wall. Has done it many times without getting hurt. I guess her toe hit the wall this time, or her toenail caught on something. Caused the toenail to break off, left it hanging. I had taken her to the vet, and she pulled it off (after numbing the foot), then wrapped up the foot. All healed, the toenail grew back. I felt so sorry for her, though, because I'm the one who threw the ball she chased after! I don't throw the ball toward the wall anymore. Don't want a repeat performance. bea
