Hello everyone,
Just popping in to give a brief summary of today`s happenings.
1) My `cold` is more like laryngitis and my voice is gradually leaving me, apart from an increased capacity for coughing I`ve been almost silent all day...lol!!
2) A parakeet returned to the Magnolia to eat almost half the contents of a bird feeder, greedy feathered creature!
3) There are a pair of blue tits in the nesting box on our garden wall. It`s taken four years for it to be put to use but better late than never.
4) Roman is STILL calling me Sandra, despite our distracting him and chanting Nanna, Nanna , Nanna hoping that he`ll copy us. No such luck, he just laughs and shouts `Sandra!` at the top of his voice...I give up!
That`s all for now, I`ll leave you with a photo of Little Man with his new `hat` on. :o)

Well Sandra I hope you soon feel better and your voice returns quickly.The nesting boxes the tits love them.Mine were occupied every year and I used to love to watch them in and out of it.What a lovely suprize that the parakeet returned it will probaby stay awhile now then.Haaaa yes SANDRA I rather have SANDRA than nana.lol!!That little smiling face has made my day Love the pic he is wonderful ROFL at his little hat.Bless him..What would we do wothout them I ask you? Sandra laughed at Roman calling you Sandra and love the picture of him in his HAT ~ that really is so cute ~ hope your laryngitis soons leaves you and you get rid of that cough ~ lovely about the bluetits taking over the nesting box ~ and it must be lovely to watch the Parakeet's would like to see them at my bird table ~ Ally
Did get an alert - read entries, do not always comment. Parakeets are large birds, so they know what to do with a birdfeeder :-D
Oh Bless him Sandra!! He is gorgeous. Thanks for sending email - I didnt get your alert - I dont think anyones getting mine either - not had many people visit me lately. Glad you have blue tits in the box - I want them to go in mine - we had some last year it was lovely!! Laine xxx
You have manages to worry me and keep me laughing all in the same post. I'm keeping you in my prayers on the smoke. As for laughing , may I please ask, what your referring to when you say blue tits. LOL at Roman calling you Sandra, Love his hat by the way, he has such a lovely grin, a teaspoon of honey is supposed to be good for the throat when sufferring from laryngitis ( if you can eat honey like that) or slice some lemons, boil them in a pan, add some honey and drink whilst still warm,

Haven't read my alerts yet so I don't know if I got an alert. Sorry you've lost your voice & gotten a cough. Shelby's been sneezing and coughing and our oldest granddaughter Ashley has the flu. Everyone everywhere is ill it seems. Hope you're feeling better. That's so neat the parakeet came back. I'm assuming blue tits are birds?

LOL, Sandra!! My granddaughter went through a stage of calling me Kathy. It lasted about a month. Then it was Gramma Kathy. I could live with that. Now at 7, it's
