Hello Everyone,
Well here we are once again. Christmas is over for another year after all the anticipation and will quickly be forgotten along with every other year....sigh. I love Christmas but it goes by far too quickly for me.
Does it suit me Nanna?
We had a smashing Christmas Day and Boxing Day with the whole family at our house for both days. Roman is much recovered from his conjunctivitis and is almost back to normal, he`s certainly been full of mischief the last couple of days with poor Kerry needing eyes in the back of her head, each time her back was turned he found something else to get up too, bless him!
Roman really seemed to love getting his presents though the best part seemed to be tearing the paper off them. It must be overwhelming for a small child to be confronted with all these brightly coloured packages. I had some lovely presents from family and friends. Thanks Jeannette and Mike for yours, they are exactly what I wanted. Amongst my presents I have two books, both autobiographies that I`ve wanted for some time. I`ve started one already and it`s really funny, just what I need to keep away the Winter blues.
Our Family Christmas 2006
Boxing Day was similar to yesterday but slightly less hectic. In the afternoon my brother, SIL and two nephews turned up for an hour so there were 11 of us in my living room. It was nice to see Little Brother as it`s been a year since we last got together, even though we only live a couple of miles apart, I suppose that`s what busy lives do to us. I hope we get to see each other a bit more often during the coming year and don`t wait until next Christmas.
Today Danny, Salina and I went back to work though Jim, Kerry and Slava are still on holiday. I really wonder why we didn`t close until after the New Near seeing as though we didn`t have a lot of customers. I would think most shoppers have headed for the High Streets and the January sales, not garden centres. If I were the consumer I know where I`d be....most likely at home I think until the rush died down. I can`t stand crowds of manic bargain hunters that seem intent on trampling me underfoot...lol!
Anyway, I have to catch up on some journal reading. I hope you all have a lovely day. Bye Bye for now. :o)

Thank you for sharing your photos with us Sandra. You are right Christmas goes far too fast. Looks like Roman got some great presents. What autobiographies have you got? I love reading about peoples lives. I have not even started mine yet but we have long winter days that will be just right for curling up with a book. Thank you once again for the presents. What a pity you had to work!
Great family pictures, Sandra. Happy New Year!

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas and Boxing Day. I've only learned about Boxing Day this year. I'd never heard of it before.
I agree with you, too, about the shopping. I wouldn't be out there now. No way!

Hey Sandra !!!!!!!!
Christmas came and went pretty fast. I have to say that Roman is sure adorable and he will be quite the heart breaker. You have a very beautiful family and its a joy getting to know you and them through your journal. I also got a lot of nice presents and it was a pretty nice Christmas. We didn't celebrare Boxing Day here in my neck of the woods. Pretty soon we will take down the tree in our house and I will be waiting for next Christmas to come. Today was back to work for me but it was a pretty slow day. I hope you and your family have a great week.
Take care Sandra.
Hi, Sandra! I had such a good time catching up on your journal. It's been awhile since I've been by to read. Your grandson is more handsome everytime I see a new picture of him! The one where he is wearing the hat is priceless. The look on his face is adorable! I'm so glad your Chrismas was wonderful and you were surrounded by your loving, very good looking, family. There's nothing better. I laughed at your story about the MOUSE. Something simular happend years ago to us and we used LP's to form a tunnel to scoot the little guy outside. It brought back a lot of funny memories.
Take good care and try to stay warm! I hope 2007 brings joy, good health, happiness and lots of blessings to you and your family!
Hugs, Kathy
Sandra I am so glad everything went well and Roman was a lot better so he could enjoy Christmas ~ Love the Photographs ~ wishing you all a Happy and prosperous New Year ~ Ally
I love the photo of Roman in his hat, he looks like he could get a part in Bugsy Malone! I would have thought the garden centre would be closed all week, not much to buy this time of year and all spring bulbs would be planted by now! I'm so glad you had a great Christmas, I hope the new year continues to be happy for you all! Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
Lovely pictures Sandra, I'm so glad you all enjoyed your Christmas :o) You're right though, it's over so quickly, after all that planning and buying and wrapping and anticipating!!
