Welcome to my journal. I`m 57 and have been married to Jim for 36 yrs, have two grown up children, a son Daniel who is 32 and a daughter Kerry who is 35. She is married to Slava and they have Roman who is 4 1/2 and his baby sister Sophie who is 8mths old. Daniel is now single after a long term relationship though I dearly hope he won`t be on his own for long. I`m a very ordinary person who is passionate about gardening and despite being in my mid..well, late fifties I still see myself as much younger, except when I look in the mirror! My journal is written just the way I speak so please forgive the bad grammer. Please read on.....
Jim went out with the camera again on this very foggy morning, some of the photos and particularly the one in the main body of the journal, are quite spooky looking. Enjoy!
Don't the fog make everything look eerie ~ "lovely pictures" ~ driving home today it was so foggy it was scary as couldn't see what was coming or going ~ glad when I got home safe and sound ~ Ally
Wow, Sandra we had nothing like that here, maybe it is because we are so close to the coast. Mind you, I love those sort of mornings, I used to love walking out in weather like that especially when I was on my way to school. The pictures are certainly spooky but what wonderful stories you could think up in your mind seeing pictures like that. I truly like them, thank you for sharing and thank Jim for taking them.
Aol have relented - I can leave comments again and my screen name is "valid" - my journal edit buttons have been taken out of service instead! Jim has captured some lovely shots today, they really do look spooky. Thanks for sharing. Hope you are well. Love Sylvia xx
Hey Sandra....The photos are quite haunting. I would be a little nervous walking in the fog. Thanks for sharing these photos. The photos would be a great beginning to a haunting story or two hint, hint, hint, hint. Byyyyyye !!!!!!!!!!!
Yes some of them do have a spooky effect. No fog yesterday it was a beautiful day here. But thick fog this morning,The fog horn woke me. Thanks for sending it down my way and sharing it LOL!! Take care. Astoriasand http://journals.aol.co.uk/astoriasand/MYSIMPLERHYMES
ohhhh i like the foggy pics...We don't have any fog here it's just down south of england today...We did have horrendous fog 2 weeks ago driving home from mums and it was so thick i could barely see in front of the bonnet :o( the sunset pics you took are gorgeous and i do love all the pics of the trees Caff xxxx
Has anyone ever sent you an email with a poem and in the background was a beautiful picture of a nature scene? Well your photos could be used as photo post cards or the background for those poems. They are beautiful. I could almost smell the damp leaves and feel the mist. Hugs, Kathy
Hi Sandra, I think those photos are lovely, so atmospheric, they capture the essence of November, even though it looks set to be a very mild november indeed. I have been reading through some of your journal. I must have missed you out in the Vivi Nominees. I thought I had managed to visit everyone. But the very best of luck with the award. I have added you to my alerts so that I will be able to come back to read more, Kate. http://journals.aol.co.uk/bobandkate/AnAnalysisofLife/ http://journals.aol.co.uk/bobandkate/20062007-journal-index/

I am surprised that Jim and Jake didn't get lost in all that fog. Maybe Jake used his nose to lead the way home LOL. Very spooky! Helen

Great shots. Add some moors and The Hound of the Baskervilles and you have a novel in there somewhere.

Spooky, no mistake, Sandra. Great pics!

For some reason the first picture isn't showing up, but I love the second pic. It is very mysterious looking!
