Hello Everyone,
I`ve not long got back from our Sunday lunch at the Toby Carvery and I am absolutely full up and I doubt I`ll be hungry for a week! I had roast turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, yorkshire pud, four different veggies and horseradish gravy...mmm..it was delicious. It`s such a popular restaurant that we had to wait over 30 mins for a table, if there`d been more than just the two of us it would have been far longer so I`m not complaining, anyway the food is certainly worth the wait.
We both really enjoyed The Queen at the cinema last night and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Helen Mirren was amazing as Her Majesty and it wasn`t long before I forgot I was watching an actress and not the monarch herself. The whole cast, it has to be said were splended in their roles, especially James Cromwell the American actor who played Prince Phillip, his English accent was faultless. Michael Sheen played a hapless Tony Blair and Helen McCrory played a far prettier Cherie. I did spot a mistake however, in one scene the Queen put her two black labradors into her Landrover. When she got out again there were THREE of them...I wonder who else noticed that, unless both Jim and I missed seeing the third dog but we were both sure it wasn`t already there. Anyway, do go along and see it, or wait for the DVD, you won`t be disappointed.
I`m already for my big day tomorrow, though I`m still a bit nervous I`m not as bad as yesterday. I`m looking forward to it and can`t wait to get started now. I`m not worried about getting up any earlier as I`m usually up early anyway. I`ll make sure I`m up at 6.30 tomorrow just to make sure I get things done, I don`t want to come home to housework that`s for certain. I`ll be home by about 2.30 and Roman will be here at 3.15...no time to put my feet but luckily Jim will be home to take the strain...lol!
Right, I`ll say goodbye now. I hope you all have a lovely evening. Take care. :o)

I think the gardening center would be a good place to work. It seems like plants have a calming effect and would create an atmosphere that is pleasant. The restaurant seems to be a really good one. Best wishes on your continued work days and I am sure they will be glad to have hired someone like you. mark
Worth a few Oscars do you think, The Queen? I'll look out for the 2/3 black labs! By the time you read this you will have done your first shift at your new job. Was it OK? Did it live up to expectations? Love, Angie, x
