Hello everyone,
Phew...it`s another scorcher today, 92 degrees and far to hot and humid for me. I don`t think I was built for heat that is quite so intense, don`t get me wrong, I adore Summer and the hot weather but this is just too much. Oh well, according to AOL weather it is supposed to rain tomorrow and Thursday, mind you we know just how accurate AOL are with things so I shall have to wait and see. I`m afraid the heat has affected Roman today and he`s been `cranky` all day long and doesn`t seem to know what to do with himself. Apart from Teddies Club this morning Kerry has kept him indoors and has been sponging him down trying to keep him cool, bless him. On Saturday he went to the birthday party of a little friend from Teddies. L is just a few weeks older than Roman and they seem to be good pals, patting each other and smiling at each other. Now Kerry and L`s mum are waiting to see which one of them will be the first to walk, they both have five teeth so they are equal there....lol! I don`t know, there seems to be peer pressure even with babies!
I forget to tell you but Jim DID buy me the climbing rose that I wanted. It`s a great specimen being in tip top condition. It`s called Laura Ford and it will have yellow scented blooms from early Summer until early Autumn, also it very disease resistant. At the moment I`m keeping it in it`s pot on the patio until I get some rose food and then I will plant it in full sun where I`ll make sure it will thrive. I`ll take a photo of it when it`s in flower.
I`ve just about up to date with my journals after my time away from the PC. I have sixteen left to read which is nothing compared to the 17 I had left from last night and the 75 from overnight and that was without the personal emails and sends from my tag group. I must try to stay on top of it all now as I don`t like to miss out on your latest news. I haven`t heard anything from M about her Dad but she nad her family will be home some time tomorrow so I`ll find out then. Before I go I`d just like to wish all my American friends a very Happy 4th of July and may you all have a lovely day whatever your plans. I hope all of you have had a really good day and that it hasn`t been too hot for you. Take care and Bye Bye for now. :o)

That is a bit hot but it is nice if you get some sun. Maybe tomorrow for us up here in misty Scotland. Love Joan.
Great pictures. It's hot here also, supposed to get 98º this afternoon. They are saying a 30% chance of rain this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. But that isn't very much. Your rose sounds lovely. Looking forward to seeing a picture of it's blooms. I love yellow roses. Poor Roman trying to cope in this heat. Good luck to him in the race on who walks first with his friend. Thanks for the good Holiday Wishes. It's been a quiet one here, Just Ken and myself and Patches. Hugs, Helen
Hi Sandra! Poor little Roman. I do hope he feels better. Heat makes ME cranky, too! So I can relate!
Can't wait to see your new roses. I just don't have the talent for growing things.<sigh>.
Loved your pictures. I didn't realize Windsor Castle was so BIG!! Do you live nearby?
Enjoy the rest of your day and stay cool!
Pamela

I agree it was too hot today! We had a huge thunderstorm and thought, 'Phew, at least it will cool down!' Unfortunately, it just seemed to get hotter!
Have a great evening.

Wow Sandra, it's really hot over there. Here it is 2:15pm Tuesday afternoon and the thermometer on my port is right at 70 degrees. It has been in the high 80's in days past. 70 degrees is about perfect for me. I can't take those high temps either. Linda in WA
I hope Roman doesnt get sickly from the heat....its hot as heck here too and rainy. Yuck.
I wanna see your rose bush!
Happy Tues to you. I could have sworn today was Sunday.

Young children can't adapt so well to the heat, I hope Roman will keep cool. We had some rain at lunch time but after a half hour downpour it was back to the lovely sunshine again! Jeannette xx

Join the club with the heat!! I hate it when it goes over 75ish, but we have fans going in every room so that has helped.
