I`m so sorry I haven`t been around lately. I HAVE been working on sorting out my holiday photos...all 600 of them ! Don`t worry I won`t be posting them all so you can relax...lol!
It`s just that they`re so time consuming because of editing, then sorting them into some kind of order. I do hope to have them all finished soon...but, I`m going away again at the end of next week, this time for our usual September break in Dorset for the week. Anyway, I thought I`d post a couple of photos just so you can see what The Canadian Rockies look like and why we loved our holiday so much.
At Lake Louise, the water looks so beautiful but is freezing because it`s fed by a glacier.
The glacier that feeds Lake Louise, it looks magnificent
Going whale watching. These are some of the lovely people from our tour group.
Bye Bye for now. :o)
Love

I would dearly love to explore Canada. The only province I've been to is British Columbia. When my folks were alive, they used to go to Alberta all the time to see friends. They loved it there. Linda in WA
Oh, after your first picture I was soooo jealous that I really didn't want to see any more (jealousy that's all), anyway curiosity got the better of me and all I can say is WOW, what a holiday! You are definitely forgiven and I wish I had been on that holiday!!!!!! Eileen x

Hi Sandra...even before I got to the caption on your Lake louis photograph I just knew were it was...It is my very favourite spot...I have now seen it both as you saw it clear blue and beautiful and completely frozen over when it is stunning..hard to believe that it can freeze over completely..and what about the Chateau... we were actually very lucky to stay there for 2 nights many years ago when our friends were paying for everything....(just as well as even then a cup of coffee cost about £1 20 years ago !!!) .I am glad that you had such a great holiday. Love Sybil xx
Hi Sandra. I am looking forward to seeing your Canadian photos. I enjoyed my two three week visits to British Columbia in 1989 and 1998. I never took as many pictures as you but I do have a very long video which I must put onto a DVD.
