Hello everyone,
I hope you`re all having a good weekend. The weather has been really nice here and I`ve been getting a lot of work done in the garden. I`ve pulled up the bedding plants that have seen better days but decided to leave those that still have a lot of life left. I emtied the hanging baskets and many of the containers leaving the way clear to plant the Spring bulbs. As I got so much done yesterday I will give it a miss this afternoon as I have a roast dinner to prepare and cook and perhaps I`ll go dog walking with Jim. I may or may not have mentioned that we`ve had Marshall for the weekend so we went for a long walk yesterday to make sure both dogs were wwell exercised. The only problem is the children next door, well they are teenagers now but very annoying all the same. They keep on calling the dogs, swearing and making barking noises at them. Consequently they have been barking back at them and I`ve had to bring them in from the garden several times. I have asked them to leave them alone which they do...for all of ten minutes before they start again. It`s no use telling the parents as they don`t care what they do so you can understand that I can`t wait for them to sell their house and move. So far no-one wants to pay the asking price for the property and for that I don`t blame them, I wouldn`t pay what they want for it either...sigh.
Apart from that matter I`ve enjoyed the weekend so far and am looking forward to a quiet week. Kerry has a week off work and I won`t have Roman. I will however be going out with them tomorrow afternoon so I will still see them. I must admit I will miss not looking after Roman when Kerry starts working mornings instead of evenings but I`m sure I`ll do my fair share of baby-sitting as and when I`m needed, I can`t imagine life without seeing him.
I know it may seem early but I`m seriously thinking about Christmas. Not the day itself but of buying cards and presents saving me the task of fighting my way through the crowds later on. I lose all enthusiasm if I have to rush things. It will be really nice this year as Kerry wants to be hostess this year and I can be waited on for a change, a luxury for me as it`s something I`m not at all used to.
Jim has arrived home from work and he`s just asked me go walkies in Black Park with the dogs. I think I will as the sun is shining and I`d like to make the most of it before the colder weather sets in. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon my friends. Bye for now. :o)

Hope you enjoyed your walk. It's raining up here. Eileenx
I know what you mean about the teenagers; but our problem is an 84yr old Italian lady who insists on letting her dog go for Sam through the fence........poor Sam hates this dog and refuses to go in the garden at times!!! Trouble is, like you, our protests fall on deaf ears and this particular lady is convinced they want to get together to make puppies!!! I don't think so!! Enjoy your time with Kerry and Roman tomorrow......hope their solicitor gets their act together and they move into their house soon.
Hope your irritating neighbors move soon so you can have some peace and quite. Enjoy your walk. Helen

Sandra the weather has been quite nice here today ~ sounds like you have been busy in the garden ~ Hope your neighbours sell their house quickly and those pesky teenager go live somewhere else :o) ~ hope you enjoyed your walk with the Dogs ~ Ally x
You know Sandra, I bet little short miniature daffodils would look real pretty in a hanging basket. Everything is still doing good here except for some of the petunias that have gotten leggy. I've pulled some out and need to clear out the rest. I'm pretty much done Christmas shopping, did it while we were on our road trip last spring and then again when I was in Alaska last month. And as far as card are cocerned...I've bought them for years after Christmas at sale prices. I think I have 20 or so boxes of them put away, the same with Christmas wrapping paper. Some kids just don't have a sense at all. All of a sudden, everybody is talking about Halloween and Christmas, wonder why :-)
Hi Sandra,
I'm catching up with you here. I hope those kids settle down soon, and they move! How irritating!
I've been thinking of Xmas as well. I can't believe it is so close! Sounds like you had a relaxing weekend.
Pam
Your entry is so cheery and bright. I am sorry about those awful teenagers next door. I will be praying that someone buys that house soon - a quiet elderly couple with good manners. LOL It's nice that the weather has been nice enough for you to get out in the garden. I'm sure it will be lovely again in the spring.
Hugs, Kathy
It really is a drag about the bad kids being ugly to the dogs. How could anyone aggravate a sweet dog?

Lets hope the neighbours sell up and you get somebody decent.
I have bought a few things for christmas already. . .I know Im sad really but I do want to enjoy December this year without it all been taken up shopping.So. . im going to be really organised and then I will be able to watch all the christmas films on tv hopefully
I know what you mean about Christmas Sandra, it's coming up quickly now isn't it really. The more we can get out of the way now, the more time we will have to enjoy it when it's here :o)
