Clearing Away

Hello Everyone,

It`s a nice, bright day here though it`s much colder than the last few days. The wind has changed direction and is blowing from the North bringing the colder temperatures with it. I must admit I`m glad it`s colder as I think very mild weather in Winter doesn`t seem right to me and I know the plants in the garden will benefit by a spell of colder weather so they don`t flower too early.

I`ve had a reasonably lazy day today, I did the housework as usual but finished up at lunchtime and settled down in front of the computer for a few hours. This evening we`re going out to a family dinner so I have to be ready to leave by 6.30. I`ve washed and straightened my hair and I have nothing left to do until the last hour when I will apply my make-up, taking care to fill in the wrinkles as I go...lol! Jim is going to take the camera so I expect I`m be posting some photos tomorrow.  Hopefully I`ll be able to put them into a slide show courtesy of RockYou.com.

Jim has finished clearing the garden of debris following the gales of Thursday. It looks nice and tidy now but I`ll be glad when the new fence is up and we`re not overlooked anymore, we were used to our privacy but now the people whose garden backs onto ours can see right through out kitchen window. Not only can they but they do, a lot...the man who lives there leans on his windowsill staring at us, it`s very unnerving as well as being extremely rude. Also I`m worried that we might get visited by more rats now we don`t have any fencing.....I do hope not.

Anyway, I`m sorry this is very brief but I want to read journals before I have to sign off. Take care my friends and have a great weekend. :o)

OH! dear Sandra glad it's not me who he is peering at.Or I think you have an idea what I would do if you have read my latest Rhyme LOL.I do not know if alerts have been down or not.LOL!! I always had my gardens private but alas when those gales came this is always what the outcome was.The ones who peer think it's great they can see your goings on LOL!! They are in no hurry for us to repair either, these kind of people. LOL!!

The guy who peers into my window will soon get a nice suprize.
If he stares much longer I am afraid he might get something in his eyes.
No it wont be a bit of debri from the wind or a  from my fence.
It will be a borrowed Satsuma from one of my J/Land friends. Haaaaaa!!!!!!

Take care Have a lovely meal and a lovely evening out.ENJOY.
God Bless

That's really rude to stare in people's windows, they just don't have manners any more. I hope you can get the fence fixed soon! Enjoy your dinner tonight, you've probably eaten it by now! I look forward to seeinf the pics! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Did you somehow adopt my neighbors?? Sounds like them. Whenever I would add new plants to my garden, they would run out and add more to theirs. We can never go out in our yard without them staring and watching what we are doing. When I first cut my hair short, the woman next door showed up with her's short as well. People like your neighbors and mine, are not only rude, by creepy. (Hugs)Indigo

Hope you enjoyed your dinner tonight.

Hope you had a lovely dinner. Strange man looking across the way. Hopefully the rats won't be out hunting for a new home.  Have a wonderful Sunday.

Hi Sandra!  It's a good thing we had our fence replaced this summer.  That old one never would have survived the gales.  I'm glad that you and yours came through fairly unscathed, sweetie!

Very windy again last night here... hoping you don't have to tidy your garden again Sandra!  What a horrible thing, having your neighbour watch you like that!!  Maybe he thinks it's funny, I know I wouldn't like it either though!  Hope you had a nice evening yesterday :o)

Hi Sandra...catching up here.  You sure don't need to fill in any wrinkles, because your skin looks beautiful...so shush on that!  I know you are going to have a lovely family dinner...can't wait to see the photos.  Oh my, we have one of those nosy neighbors...but in the front.  Everytime we go to the car, the curtain flies open at their house, they think no one see's them...we call them the neighborhood creeps.  It is creepy for sure, so I know what you mean.  So nice you have privacy now.
Hope your week is going well...going to your next entry...
Hugs and love,
Joyce
