A NICE DAY

Hello everyone.....  Welcome to Wednesday`s scribbles.  I have some more photos today that were taken in the garden.  First of all Little Man who was very much better last night.  Mum and Dad got a lot more sleep!

I went to Kerry`s about 2.30pm and we got out the stroller and walked back over to our house.  We sat in the new bistro chairs on the new patio!  It was a lovely peaceful afternoon.  Little Man slept....and slept, Jake had a look and, curiosity satisfied, he went back to chasing his football around the garden.  Kerry, Jim and I just sat around drinking coffee until Jim decided to get the camcorder out.  He took some footage of Roman who just slept....and slept, took some snapshots as well, then gave up.  Little Man didn`t wake up until he was woken for his feed.

Kerry is unbelievably well today.  It won`t be long I think, until she gets her figure back again either.  See the bistro chair in the left-hand corner!

Jim set the camera onto automatic for this one.  It was quite funny trying to get us all in position before the shutter clicked.  We tried to get Jake in the pic but he was more interested in his football again....lol!

Tomorrow we are going to the new Tesco`s superstore that opened Monday.  It is an enormous building and looks as though it will take all day to get around.  The other store was huge so I`m dreading this one.  Just how big does a supermarket need to be, it has 14 shops that are not owned by Tescos inside the main building, that is without the shops that are owned by them..

When Kerry and I were crossing the road to our house, there was a bailiff outside next doors house.  He had stuck a notice on their car and he then proceeded to put a wheel clamp on it.  They drove off later this evening so they must have paid up straight away. That was a little bit of excitement to liven up the day!

Well as I don`t want to become a `baby bore`, I`ll try and think of something else for my journal.  It`s really hard though as my life has become centred around Kerry and her little family. I think Little Man has taken over my life and I let him in willingly!

That`s it for me now, I must go and read some journals. I have some Blonde jokes for you though, so have a good day and a nice evening. Take care.

BLONDE ON BLONDES

How did the blonde explain how his helicopter crashed?

He said it was getting cold and he turned off the ceiling fan.

What happened to the blonde tap dancer?

She slipped off and fell down the drain.

Why did the blonde take her new scarf back to the shop?

It was too tight.

Why did the blonde put her finger over the nail she was hammering?

The noise gave her a headache.

Why did the blonde stand in front of the mirror with his eyes closed?

He wanted to see what he looked like asleep.

You talk about that beautiful boy all you want! It's good to hear of wonderful and innocent things in a world gone mad.

I, myself never tire of hearing about Little Man and also love seeing your very nice family photos and the cute shots of him.  Never think that is boring. Tesco's sounds like an interesting store.  We have many of the huge superstores around our area but I never can find the time to shop in them.  Plus here, parking is a major issue.  Weekends, too crowded...weekdays too hectic.  That was some excitement about the bailiff leaving that notice. They were fast to clear that up.
Well, enjoy the rest of your day...take care and remember..post all the time as far as I am concerned about Little Man.  I am a grandma..love it all!

Those were great pictures and Kerry looks like she feels so much better after Little Man got some sleep last night and she could also. The pictures are very good. Talk about the baby all you want to. We enjoy reading about it all. Cute blond jokes. Helen

The bear and balloons "welcome" reflection is tremendous, also the babies hugging at the bottom.  Wonderful looking photos of your family with Roman.  Kerry's fast recovery is marvelous.  Jim is very happy looking as are you Sandra.  Jake has had a fleeting interest.  Take care on this special time,   mark

Wonderful photos Sandra, Kerry looks so well and she has such a lovely figure anyway, she will be completely back in trim in no time.  I would not fancy that supermarket, never liked them even when I could shop and that would have been far too big for me.  I miss shopping the way it used to be. Great jokes as always.  Indian clubs, you do exactly what the man in the picture is doing, you exercise with them, they were very popular many years ago.  A bit like juggling except more athletic lol.  I tried to make it as funny as it truly was but for most people it seems to have brought back memories more than anything.

Sandra, don't you ever feel guilty about telling us all about that baby. You're a first time grandma and you wouldn't be normal if you didn't talk about him to everyone you meet.  You should see the piles of videos and pictures I have from those first days.  And I couldn't keep my hands off that baby.  Your pictures are wonderful and I hope you keep taking them.  Just think...next summer he'll be toddling all over you pretty new patio, with Jake in hot pursuit.  Now that will be a "Kodak Moment."

Oh you are not a "baby bore".  LOL.  I love the photos and so glad you are sharing them.  Journaling is about what is going on in your life right now and it's never boring.  You all look so happy.  You will have to save Little Man that pic.  He is so cute.  I will always enjoy your reports on your little Roman.
