GETTING READY!

   My Little Man!

Hello everyone.... I just had to post these pics of Little Man.  I took them this afternoon while Kerry was here.  The top one is over Kerry`s shoulder and I had to get a shot of him with his eyes open.  He is 11 days old now and weighs 8lbs.  He is growing fast and gets cuter by the day....Oh we do love him!

Of course he doesn`t have his eyes open all the time, in fact he sleeps more in the day than my two ever did.  He even sleeps while he`s having his feed and nappy changes, Kerry says he takes after his Dad, for sleeping that is, not nappy changes...lol!

This one was taken just after the last one, he starts crying in just a minute.  We went out for a walk this afternoon and I pushed Little Man in his pram.  He seems to like his walks and goes to sleep once we are moving.  We can walk much further now as Kerry is almost back to normal now.  The midwife and heath visitor are very impressed with her quick recovery and you wouldn`t know to see her that she had a C-section.  We were going to take Jake for a walk with us but it was far to hot for him.  He is back to very early morning walks and late night while it is hot like this.  Jake`s  hotspot on his muzzle is almost better now.  It has dried up and hopefully now he has finished his antibiotics that should be the end of it.  I`ve sent off for a claim form from the pet insurance company and at least I`ll get some money back.

I`ve spent some time packing today.  I did heaps of ironing yesterday and I`ll still have a few more bits to do that we need.  So far my packing is very neat, but I`ll have to sort out Jim`s case to make sure he`s got all he needs.  I`m getting so excited over the holiday now, now the cases are out reality has hit.  This time next week we`ll be in Toronto.....whoopee!  I have afew things to do in town before I go.  I must get my eyebrows done as they look like two hairy caterpillars and I`m no good at doing them myself!  I need my vitamin tablets and aspirin to take for the flight.  I know I need other stuff but I can`t remember what at the moment...it`ll come back to me.

I`ll sign off now and leave you with a couple of jokes.  Have a lovely day all of you and please take care.

BLONDE ON BLONDES

Hear about the blonde explorer?

He bought a piece of sandpaper thinking it was a map of the Sahara Desert.

Did you hear about the blonde who thought who thought nitrates were cheaper than day rates?

What do a group of blondes have in common?

Nothing they can think of.

I think Kerrys being  active  has helped  her along so well, women who bedrest too much after a C really struggle.

Little Man has grown a lot in my eyes...he looks so alert and focused at such a young age.  Walking is such a relaxing time for all babies...it is the motion of course...that and car rides too.
So happy Jake is doing better too.  He keeps you busy but he too is a doll!  You take care and soon your holiday will be here.

He's so precious.  I just love babies with dark hair.  Both of mine had full heads of dark hair & my girl (Jools) even had sideburns.  She looked like Elvis could have been her father . (She'll probably shoot me for that remark.)
