Hello everyone.......
This is a baby-free entry, no mention will be made of babies, right, here we go then.
Yesterday I did the usual things, spending much of the day with Kerry and Little Ma...ooops.... sorry, no mention of babies! He didn`t wake up all.......ok, I give in, babies it is then...!
Little Man didn`t wake up all the time I was there yesterday. Kerry`s routine is under way and he is more contented already. What I didn`t do was take anymore photos, plenty of time for that. Jim had a dentist appointment to have a crown fitted on his broken front tooth. They have done a marvellous job and you would never know the difference, mind you as Jim said, so it should be for the price the dentist charges. He is hoping he never needs another one because they are just too expensive, and that`s with dental insurance cover.
Late yesterday afternoon, we took the plunge and went to get our shopping from the new Tescos Extra. It is even bigger than I thought it would be, with a carpark underneath the main building as well as surrounding it. The building is quite easy to find your way around (that was the bit I was worried about) and there was so much inside to see, but we didn`t have time to browse and headed straight for the grocery dept. where we managed to get all our shopping done. The staff in there are extremely helpful and were pointing customers who were lost in the right direction. I won`t mind shopping there again...alone next time, as shopping with Jim is a bit of a nightmare. He doesn`t give me enough time to look around and he keeps wandering off to look at things that we never buy. Children are much easier to cope with as you just sit them in the trolley! The clothes dept. looks wonderful, and the baby clothes....well, I must definitely come alone for them.
Last night I was sorting out our suitcases to start packing for Canada. One of them needs replacing as the zip has broken, it`s a pity because it`s only acouple of years old. I`m getting quite excited now as we`re leaving on the 14th August, just nine days to go. I`m sure we are going to miss Little Man but he will be well looked after by his Mum and Dad. My main worry is Jake going into kennels for two weeks. I just hope he doesn`t think we are abandoning him like his previous owner did. I will impress on the kennel owner that he needs a lot of TLC, his special diet and a list of instructions as long as your arm. They are very god there but Jake is used to living in a house and I can`t help but worry about him. We`ll make up for it when we get home because just five days later we are off to Dorset for a week. Oh Joy!
I was in town this morning,paying bills, getting a prescription made out and getting a few bits for Kerry. While I was there I couldn`t resist a couple of things for Little Man. I got a little `plush` blue teddy bear rattle for newborns and a set of rattles for babies from three months...... and a tiny sleepsuit that was in the sale, yes I know he has enough clothes for a whole maternity ward but it was cheap and he will look really cute in it...lol!
I`m going to go and get ready to go to Kerry`s now. I do hope you all have a lovely weekend, enjoy the rest of today and please take care.
BLONDE ON BLONDES
Why do blondes have more fun?
They are easier to amuse.
Why do blondes have TGIF on their shoes?
Toes go in first.
Why did the blonde scale the chain-link fence?
To see what was on the other side.
Did you hear about the blonde who shot an arrow in the air?
He missed.
GRAFFITI
I found these words of wisdom,
inscribed on a bathroom wall;
Put there with a firmish hand...
"God made MAN first of all."
And underneath, in different style,
(For sharp-witted replies never cease);
"She made him as Her early draft,
Before Her final masterpiece."

I never get enough browsing time when I shop with my hubby!! We have a Tesco Extra too, though probably nowhere near as big as your one. Glad to hear that Little man is settling into his routine :o) You will miss him while you're away, but will have something to look forward to coming home to, and of course your Jakey!!

Glad to hear that the little man and Kerry are doing well. The coffee graphic is good. Jake will not mind if the kennel is as good as the one's that I have used. They really take good care of them. Hope you have a wonderful time Sandra. On the blonde jokes as I said to Stuart: " isn't that unfair to all those people with dyed hair? lol mark
Cute & interesting entry today. Loved the graphics and jokes. Helen
LOL nice try not to talk about little man!! It sounds like you'll be on holiday same time as me - if I wasn't looking after two cats I'd volunteer to look after jake ;-) Love the hello graphic - I've pinched it if you don't mind :-) Have a good weekend
Sounds like you are in the groove of being a good grandmother...Kerry is so lucky you and Jim are so attentive! So is Little Man. Also your trip sounds like you are ready to go...Jake will truly miss you, count on that one. I know the return will be a fun one for both of you.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend too!

Wow it sounds like you are enjoying the little one.
And I'm excited for your trip to Canada. Sure you dont' want to swing down here to Tennessee while your attached to our continent? LOL.
Everyone's going on trips. I feel left out. he he.
Anyway, I know what you mean about leaving the dog. I cried at Disney the first 2 nights b/c I missed our Tugie. And my Mom even had the dog giving her royal treatment. But I still cried.
Have a good weekend. Go buy a new suitcase?
